  1. I thought price was pretty good. Guy has them in quite a few colours also. Didn't think they would be any good for you. If i see the full length versions in green i will let ya know sparkster
  2. Yes they are the TRS ones. Guy wants £90 delivered for a set of two. Problem is they are the caterham/westfield style ones so i don't know if they will be any good for you? They have really short shoulder harness parts. They bolt in just after they go through the seats, idela for me but you would need some sort of harness bar with bolt attachments in it??? Jason
  3. Thought i should add a little update on this as i haven't updated this topic in nearly a month now, not that there is much to update Im sorry for those people that will log on to UKSC and see that i have posted in this topic only to be disapointed by the update Well TGT have my lexus in at the moment for repairs/service so work has shifted away from the buggy and onto that. I hopefully pick my lex up in a week or so when i am allowed to start driving again. Im dying to drive! Haven't driven a car in nearly 4 weeks now and im going nuts stuck at home. I have been doing what i can though whi
  4. Holly fuck that went cheap I thought i got a bargain on my GT which was £600 with front end damage but someone got a bargain there!!!! Jammy git!
  5. Welcome to the club. There are always some nice examples for sale on here and pistonheads. If you are worried about any of the cars for sale on pistonheads then post a link up on here as you will probably find someone on here that knows about it Jason
  6. one week is nothing! Im not allowed to drive for 5 weeks because of my operation Not even 3 weeks in yet and im going insane!!!! Daytime TV is GAY!!!!
  7. Jo, I really want to get along to this but it all depends how far along the buggy is. In theory it should be almost there (all be it not road legal) but the build has taken longer and cost more money than i originally planned as i have added so much extra parts! If i have a useable buggy then i may bring it along and maybe even get it on the rollers but if its still in pieces i may just leave it as its a long way for me to bring a load of parts. I know its not technically a Starlet but im sure people will be interested to see it. Jason
  8. Sold it for me think i will be investing in a set of them
  9. IMOC is probably your best option
  10. 13's for me Although they are not starbo Hubs Could go for a nice set of 10's if i get the smaller brakes
  11. Just had a little catch up on this thread! Haven't really read it in a while what with hospital etc but WOW!!!! Its really coming along now, looking like this is going to be completly mint. I would love to do a project just like this, but i guess i need to finish my other projects first Keep up the good work dude, love it
  12. i knew i got white seats for a reason, at least they wipe clean
  13. Haha true, i shouldn't be doing any slapping And don't worry i start work back on the buggy tomorrow Its just doing the CAD/laser cutting work but i will be back on it and i said you could drive the Demon also dude ;)
  14. To be honest it probably ain't worth it! Most bits will probably be knackered or just rusted on so will snap when you take them off. Have a look at ebay for people breaking minis and you will get a rough idea of prices etc. Most things are sooooo cheap new that most people will just buy new parts than second hand ones. A brand new water pump with gasket is £12. pads £8 a set and most engine parts are usually relatively cheap also. You can probably pick up a 1275gt engine for about £200 i guess. Personally i think it would be better off as a project car/rebuild. Jason
  15. its sort of...... 15% Mini 30% GT 5% original kit car 5% other cars 45% made up
  16. Yep! Demon started off life as a mini, or most of one!
  17. depends how much you can get it for???
  18. The old mini's are great and there is alot of parts/stuff available for them at very reasonable prices. The amount of interest in them is amazing so there are so many people about to help with questions and problems. My next project may well be a mini as i just love them! Obviously the Demon has mini running gear/hubs/coilovers etc and plan is to keep it all mini as its just soooooooo cheap to replace any bits. For example a set of vented/grooved and drilled performance discs will set you back about £33 And you can get a alloy 4 pot caliper conversion kit with everything needed to
  19. i should do my face up like 'team america' with boot polish and bits of hair just glued on in random places
  20. Easy thats a bit unfair How dare you call her a Demon, there is only 1 Demon and its not her................ But yes she is a complete tramp!
  21. So you have a TD04 and your going to try and get through £40 of fuel doing 'easy driving' I think the temptation to destroy some chavs will be too great and the fuel will be gone before you know it.................... 120 miles?
  22. Thanks for the love people I was looking forward to a carbon valve but they obviously decided on Titanium for a reason? The little booklet i have said it would be carbon but when i spoke to the surgeon he confirmed it was Titanium. He said he has never seen the carbon ones Im guessing that they where going to change to carbon fibre but there was obviuosly a problem or something??? The X ray i had looks well funny. The Titanium valve looks like a little bullet casing thats lodged next to my heart and you can also see the metal wires that are bound through my chest bone holding me together (
