*** Update *** Well got up to TGT and got a little done today, not much but im happy First had a little look at the rear suspension and got the old stuff off and in the bin and then the new sexy coilovers on and roughly offered up. Need to get some more bits laser cut to create a proper mounting point for the upper bracekts but it looks so much better with these on there. old setup..... sexy new setup..... Then a Nutnut (stuart) kindly came down to deliver the 2x5kg fire extinguishers that i bought. Wouldn't of been able to get them without all the help you have put in and i am truelly gratefull mate Also managed to get the centre consol offered into the car and the old handbrake gabbins ground off. and then the front radiator frame welded onto the buggy. Plan is to cut the rounded part off the nosecone and then custom make a new piece that will extend down and round the radiator. Should hopefully make it look alot meaner at the front. Just as TGT where clossing up i managed to get the buggy rolled out into the light to get some pics of it outside. When i stand back and look at it outside it just looks imense! I can't wait to get this thing done and on the road ;) Here are some better pics (sorry about the quality of some of them) of the Demon. Thanks mate The coilovers where bought direct from Gaz, they where made to order but they are not custom. They are from a original mini, but have uprated springs and are the 'lowered' version so have loads of adjustment. They are meant for the front of a mini but im using them for the back The rear of the car should weigh roughly about the same as the front of a mini so should be a pretty good match, or at least i hope so. SR speedo cluster is fine mate, its the other N/A models that have the problems with the needles. Don't worry i am planning on doing a rising sun version I just decided to do the first batch as a more simple version as people may not like the rising sun ones. Shows that other designs are available as well. I have the template fitting perfectly so now there is not much work involved in creating different designs. The rising sun is a little more work as i need to make sure the gauges are in the correct position to one another before i can do the template, to ensure they line up from one gauge to the next. Im real busy at the moment with loads of work and sorting out stuff before my heart operation, when i have had the operation i will get on the case as i will be house bound for 3 months so will have LOADS of time. Feels like there is a huge hole in my wallet and all my money is just falling out, then parts keep arriving and i remember where all the money is going.............. Rear Coilovers arrived today, not long now and i will have coilovers all round which should help out so much. Can't wait to get rid of the stupid mini rubber dohnut suspension setup. The coilovers look quite cute but should do the job a treat With the springs i bought before...... And roughly placed on the huge brackets i have I just need to sorce some imperial bolts to fix the coilovers in place and i should be well away. Hopefully if the gearbox gets fitted and these are fitted in the next few weeks i can get the remaining chassis parts laser cut and then its a case of get the driveshafts made up and then start connecting the engine wiring, cooloing, cables and its almost there as far as starting her up!!!!! Then come all the boring IVA crap............. Jason

Im sure you must be able to bypass it easily??? My mate removed a airbag in his old BMW with a aftermarket wheel and he got an adaptor, about £14.99, so the light doesn't flash and bypass's the system not too sure if there is something similar for toyota versions???

Think you should break away from the norm and fit it the other way round so you have negative dish Does look good though. Would love a deep dish one for mine but its already in my face, if it had dish then i wouldn't be able to ft into the seat!

*** Mini Update *** Well some parts have started arriving today Yesterday Some parts arrived from Jay, HKS actuator, ngk leads and autogauge volt gauge. The volt gauge is pretty beat up but its only a temporary one till i decide what gauges to go for and so i can knock up a custom gauge holder. Yesterday i also decided to order up a couple of small slimline sucker fans that will be mounted to front mount radiator to help with cooling. I know some people have mentioned that the fiat chinqy rad may not be up to the challenge but i think you will all change your mind when you see this. here is the radiator attached to the steel frame. and with the 2x 9' fans roughly in place........going to easily cool it now me thinks. lol Need to modify the radiator frame slightly and add some brackets to fix the fans in place but i have picked up the steel on the way home and will crack on with that tomorrow Planning to add a thermostat switch to the radiator so the fans will switch on when the temp gets to a certain point, although i doubt they will come on much to be honest. I have also had a call from Dampertech (Gaz Coilovers) and they have made my shiney new rear coilovers and have posted them out today, so with any luck will be here tomorrow. will update with more pics when more parts arrive people. I have spent sooooooooooo much this month but need to get some bits done asap. Saturday i will be up working on the Demon and have even managed to get my bro to come up and give me a hand. Jason

Don't look too bad to be honest, looks quite cool. Think you need a Kermit the frog on the parcel shelf though I wanted a Lupo GTI when they first came out but i was too young and couldn't really afford the insurance. One of the quotes i got back was over £16k I laughed so much!!!!!! Jason
