  1. I don't know about shipping costs but i do know that shipping to the states can be tricky! I was at SEMA a few years back and got talking to a few guys and one mentioned about importing a skyline. From what he was saying it was a complete pain in the arse! He said that the DMV department was long winded and there was alot of forms to fill out and he spent several days there sorting it out. He was also saying that any car imported to the states isn't allowed to have the engine in it???? i don't know how true this is/was? He was saying that any car imported can't have the engine in it. However i

  4. Exactly, so you have access to the keys to steal all the good parts off her car

    Psi

I think its a general rule to run about 32-34 psi isn't it. I have 34psi on my 18's on my lex, and the buggy has some crazy psi been told i should run 15psi in the front as there is no weight, and 35 psi at the back.
  7. Sorry dude, don't know about that one. im sure some others will help out. I don't have a Glanza/GT. My lex is insured with SKY insurance but i don't know what they are like for young drivers? and the kitcar will be insured with Adrian Flux. Either just start trying a few companies or see if anyone else can help???
  8. Play them off against one another get a quote from one and then go to the next, if they are higher then tell them you have found it cheaper and see if they can beat it? if they can go back to the other company and tell them you have it cheaper and can they beat it............and so on. may work to a degree but because of your age i think they will be reluctant to go any lower. worth a try!
  9. Well i WANT it so can i have it? saves it from getting stolen by chav's
  10. thanks for reminding me of the good points of being old Im afraid its as Bildo has said, well worth getting your own insurance set up. will pay off in the long run, trust me im a old man that knows well, 27, old enough ;)
  11. Welcome along to the club dude Another member just down the road, whoop whoop Jason ;)
  12. Can't blame ya mate. i would be paranoid too if there where some gimps hanging about my car after i posted up pics of it. Chance are that it wasn't linked. You will find there are always stupid chav's out there welcome back though Jason ;)
  13. My god thats fantastic news Dave ;) Im aiming for 200bhp in mine, but my god if i had 359bhp........... ;) Any pics/vids?
  14. You and me both I laughed so much that my chest is actually in pain, probably not a good idea while im in this state but loved it! The Barry Boys site will just rip into anything, im sure mine will end up on there when its done
  15. Mix a bit of rum in with that and you have a banging cocktail
  16. Looking sexy as FUCK!!!!! Now change your avatar
  17. Bet they are a right pain in the arse to keep clean! Got to take the wheel off every time you need to clean the inside of the wheel as its a whole solid piece of glass. and don't do the wheel nuts up to tight................CRACK!!!! But when you are driving along and they are clean i bet they look pretty cool!
  18. I saw a version of these a few years ago when i was at SEMA in 2007. They look slick up close. They where on a fully carbon lotus elise, and i mean fully carbon. They had remade the whole car from Carbon, the chassis, bodywork everything. I also saw Glass wheels They where just weird..........wouldn't trust them for sh!t. Jason
  19. You have the exact same plan as me. I joined a gym also to loose a little weight, mainly so i can fit into my mega tight seats though Forgot to add, if it is needed to make the car work then still rip it out but replace it with lighter version. windows can be perspex, panels can be fibreglass/carbon. light weight wheels, alloy brake calipers etc
  20. If its not needed to make the car work then rip it out!
  21. Surely someone hasn't done this for FUN Why would you destroy a perfectly good supra. They have gone to the trouble of buying a front bumper/kit only to mash it on over the existing front bumper. and the extra side exhaust things are just so comical its unreal. I really don't know what bit is my favourite, its just ALL so bad
  22. you would get some looks thats for sure
  23. i think my favourite part is the front bumper bodykit that has just been riveted over the standard bumper ;)
  24. My bro has just made me aware of this car, i think its a complete beast but would like to know what you guys think.......... Supra Im in love Jason
