You checked the axle bushes??where the rear beam acrually bolts up to the bottom of the shell? Can get poly ones to replace these which would eliminate any sideways movement i woulda thought

Think its a1 and a2 you need to bridge have a quick search for diagnostics on here should bring something up with which pins to bridge

Have you tried plugging it back into the original wiring and then bridging the pins in the diagnostic port which will run the fuel pump to try and eliminate where the fault is??i had similar problem with mine turned out o ahdnt connected the telay back up when installing the dash but the pump would run in diagnostic mode so helped me narrow it down

Another shout for brecon from me always my choice of drive but then its literally ten mins up the road lol

Thats some rusty water!!could just need a good flush mate worth changing thermostat too make sure you flush the matrix too and get some decent coolant in there once the system is flushed fully.best to start with the cheaper things lol
