If you thrash it but do b=very regular serving and replacing worn parts then i doubt there will be much problems. I have been thrashing mine a bit for a few months and not looking after it (getting new engine) and it does smoke on startup but goes when i drive it for ten minutes except if i rev hard. And mine has done 95k. It just wont give up. ;) Bourkey

Sorry but i can't see how repeatedly glancing at your speedo is safe. Im in agreement with Rubix on this one. WE get taxed left right and centre for stupid things and this is just another form of tax. I live in Manchester where they are wanting to try congestion charging. That sounds about right between coats of primer then your supposed to leave it 24 hours before adding paint. Can you tell i've been reading up on it for the past few days. If it looks bad i'll cry for a bit then start again. Bourkey

Do NOT nerr me sonny boy!!!! To do this properly it should take around 4-6 hours a wheel. Plus 24 hours to let the primer dry and 24 hours to let the paint dry. Then you laquer and wait for another 24 hours of your life you dissapear before you can put them on. Well something like that anyway. Im gonna have a bash at the Black centre and red lip i think. It will take a while but if i put the effort in it will look mint. Bourkey

Right, You see all the stuff thats bolted to the door near the lock...Well pretty much all of it needs to be unbolted to get to it. I once changed my locks over when one was damaged and i do remember it being a real pain in the ass. There is also a little plate that slides out from the lock aswell. It's holding it on the door from the inside. Plus you get lots of cuts on your hands. It's brill. Get a 10mm socket (i think) and let us know in an hour how you get on. Bourkey

Howdy, After reading up on how to paint wheels im going to have a bash at it myself (i am going to practice before doing mine though). The reason being is i've overspent considerbly on my conversion as i wanted it doing right plus i've got an expensive holiday in 17 weeks i need to save for. Anyway, I need a colour to spray the whole wheel as now everyone has the polished lip, not that it doesn't look good, i just want to be different as when i first got it, it was pretty rare. Well it was merely a query than asking her. I knew the answer was going to be no. Unless your going out with a pornstar or a nude model then i doubt any girlfriend would let you do it to be honest. As much as i would love to show you pictures of my girlfriend naked i think i'll pass. Here are a couple without her ski gear on though. Ouch that sounds painful! I used to be a nutter on my mountain bike doing cross country an downhill stuff but i got sick of getting hurt. I hardly ever came off but when i did i made sure it was properly, like into a tree or something. The last straw was getting hit full on by a truck. They drop the steering wheel on your lap a bit more. Some people like the wheel lower so it doesn't feel like you driving a bus. Doesn't really bother me to be honest and at 6ft 3" i think the higher for me the better. Bourkey
