hi guys just to check we are all talking about the same thing i have measured the outlets ep = 28MM civic = 32mm i`m using the samco kit will the silcone soften when hot or stretch more i just been trying with some lanolin spray lyle -
hi got my civic rad & jezza`s mounts fitted but find the civic outlets are larger than ep size what do i need to fix i had a new set of silicone to fit as well is it easy or expensive ?? thanks for help lyle

hi the civic radiator is a popular radiator upgrade in the starlet who has used the chinese e-bay sourced radiator in mod or has any experience with these radiators is there any benefit in the 3 core over the 2 core ??? is quality good or shocking ?? or is there a better option?? any comment good or bad thanks lyle

hi thanks guys for the replies but i already gathered that a bit of P& P will be of benefit . i was more interested in what the differences in C/R`s are between the 2 heads & any othe variables i have a set of V/springs &billet c/shafts i was going to fit to my STD head , but will fit to this head instead if it can be proved to be a worthwhile up-grade lyle -

hi not my cup of tea . they look out of place maybe the wrong size , definately wouldn`t survive a trip to the local shopping centre car park . a magnet for further damage after someone takes a lump off their shins may be just put em on for shows lyle

hi all welding is a process of learning the process&then lots of practice . in my case i learnt to arc weld & oxy- acetylene welding with a hobby course @rhe local TAFE college with the basics of welding learnt &lots of practice you can then teach yourself to weld using the tig &mig process the tig &mig process can be adapted to weld all sorts of material as different gases are required to weld the various materials ie ali requires pure argon whereas the various steels can be welded using CO@ or other gas blends so you see there is more to using the various welding processes than simply buying a welder &then start praticising there is all the knowledge & lots of practice before you can make a passable /servicable weld good luck with your desire to learn to weld the various metals. it won`t necessarily be easy /but also fustrating as your welding gets better lyle
