  1. how much did you shorten it? is the actuater arm straight or pulling at an angle? how do you have it plumbed in? direct from turbo nipple to actuater? can you feel or hear any air leaking from the gaskets, use a piece of pipe to listen with
  2. have you shortened the actuater arm yet?
  3. what boost are you getting?
  4. just keep shortening the arm a few turns at a time until it boosts what you need
  5. a good seat and a harness completely changes how in control you feel. this will give the biggest impact on how your car can be pushed into the bends
  6. i only did 3000ish miles on this turbo since i built it. Would love to see what it could make a 1.2 maybe 1.3 bar
  7. looking good, is it still running sweet? you enjoying it still? looking forward to seeing again at japfest
  8. that nipple is standard on older ct9a from a gt, i have two here in front of me exactly the same. most of the ct range has the same design wheel just of varying sizes. it could well be a hybrid comp cover on a stock ct9, like i said either way its not the right wheel
  9. lol yeah either way around i know its not the news you want but that's is what it is buddy. what number is on the turbine housing where it mates to the manifold? what measurement is the compressor intake? what measurement is the inducer of the compressor wheel? get me that info and i should be able to let you know you have mate. if the number is 11011 then its a ct12 turbine and core with a ct9b compressor. that would explain the too small wheel as that is smaller on the the ct12 despite its bigger shaft. that's my guess from what i can see but with the measurements i can confirm
  10. lol that's not the design, its the wrong compressor wheel its too small for the housing Im not guessing by the way, I've built around 60000 turbos in the past five years
  11. that's looks to have had the wrong compressor wheel put on at some stage. that's too small and looks to be a stock ct9 wheel. its not a k1 either,
  12. i seen 3 at eagle beach, wanted to say hello but never seen the drivers!
  13. wastegate will make no noise. that's not where the flutter comes from lol trial it without the boost controller. just go turbo to side port and see when the boost comes in. you will only be wastegate pressure but at least it will give and idea as to if its the wastegate at fault or your boost controller or put the seat in!
  14. the rad we had would not sit low enough without cutting off the old mount. also the bottom rad hose would be right where the screamer pipe was so really was not worth the effort stock radiator fits fine with the kit though
  15. sold
