Have fun mate, i remember the days of traveling for training, I once went to Wales. Its not quite the same lol
-
What? its an easy one to do? its from the front, which means millions of bucket seat and intercooler pics for people to use.. also they dont require much alterations with angles and shadowing is easy. The colour of the car means the colour can be changed easily. I could be here all day... I was thinking more for beginners. If you actually looked i'm sure you could find a couple, as there are quite a few pictures on this site. I ain't got a problem with this pic, its actually a fairly good pic for it.

Yeh this will do nicely.

Yeh mate, i think you should have kept it a bit darker with those clouds. And reflect them off the front window. But i can see you brought out alot of detail on lots of bits. Definatly good work.

Oh i thought it had to be a starlet. lol

Anytime.

Yeh they can be used on photos. They will load much faster if say it was used as a banner but wont look as good as JPEG.
-
Yeh it will prob have to be a JPEG mate. Gifs are good for little animations and small graphics that don't require much information such as icons and areas of blank colour - on the web. They are not really good for photo's mate as they cant contain as much information.

Whats it for? And is it an image or a graphic?

Raster = bitmap images i.e JPEG, TIFF..which are lines of pixels that will add or remove pixels depending on how you size it and usually ruin the picture. Vector = I think these are mathematical equations instead of pixels allowing the shape to rendered to any size or form. Depends what you created it in, some people use the term 'vector' even in Photoshop. Which is incorrect although i think you can export them as Illustrator files somehow now in CS3 You would have to Create it in something like Indesign or Illustrator or Corel draw and save it as an EPS or a PDF these are both good for p

that would make a pretty simple starter for Photoshop competitions.

Altough i havn't got it Photoshop CS3 is amazing. But if your not a Pro Photoshop 8- CS will be good. I was gonna post a comp of this a few weeks ago but couldn't bothered. lol Unfortunately for the majority of people probably wont have time to do it every month. And not only that, its best to have certain photos i.e pictures of coloured cars are easier to re-colour, pictures with clear background save having to edit windows badly if you change the cars location and so on.

I found it in my bookmarks a little while ago and it was working then.
