Shame, I thought the colour wasn't bad, but I'd want to get a carbon bonnet in the future and it wouldn't look as good as a white glanza. Besdies when I get one, I want it to be mint. So guys, where's a good place to go shopping for one, preferably in the south, if they do p/x, that would help a lot! cheers, Jon

Are you still interested in the car as I was thinking about going to see it. What price was the guy asking for? Any faults etc?

Just a wild guess but would the ECU still be thinking it should be delivering low boost amount of fuel even after the mod?

Yeah turbo surge sounds cool but it's bad for the turbo, should get a bov to relieve the pressure. If he hasn't an anti-lag kit, a bov will help improve turbo lag too.

I've used these guys previously http://mosleysgarage.co.uk/index.asp they really know their stuff, some of the cars that get tuned there would make you drool! Bit of a trek from North Wales mind!

There might be, drop them a mail to find out if there are any dealers around, failing that, find a good local garage and find out what systems they recommend.

I'm just quoting an article written in J:Tuner by a guy from AET Turbos and I haven't seen any letters to the magazine stating the contrary. I can scan the article if you want a look.

dump valves only make a noise when they are restrictive, if they are restrictive they are probably less efficient than the one that comes from the manufacturer. Rally cars don't have them, that noise is the turbo going into surge, which is bad too, but who cares when you can rebuild them after a days racing...
