  1. i was chattin 2 a matey on tgtt on rrfpr and by the end i was just confused. i tried to do sum research on em and it seems i jus cant get the answers i need!! i didnt wana query the kid i wer speakin 2 because he waz gettin shitty lol!! cans omeone please clear it up 4 me?? he said "The STOCK fuel pressure IS NOT adjustable above stock (max) pressure People buy aftermarket ones so you can adjust the max fuel pressure to run more boost" this says to me that you cannot run and higher fuel pressure than stock levels...but what is the point of the adjustable regulator then. surley an adjustable
  2. when i run the fuel pump without the engine running...i hear a hissing noise coming from the inlet manifold!! what you think this could be?? sounds like injector is opening!! does it prime before the engine starts??
  3. ahhh rite yeaa i fink im jus gona start again...and wire in my own!! im going 2 run an ignition feed to a relay for the electromagnet...and jus a normal constant feed on the other side of it!! that should be fine yea?? how a relay is normally wired!! how come you have ran it of an ignition feed but still put a switch in it jay?? for the novelty??

  5. yhh i was gna chop the hangers and re weld themin the positions they needed....put them in the rubbers and match it up 2 the chassis, as for the fuel pump....my biggest worry :S!!!! ther is no power 2 the pump at all!! and ther is no relay clickin!! i need to know if the switched feed comes from the ecu....or jus an ignition feed?!?! it has a switched feed efi relay pin on the ecu....but when i look at wiring diagrams it looks like a feed comes from the ignition!! ne 1 help on that??
  6. does anyone know were the fuel pump relay is located?? im having problems getting the fuel pump to work...and it only works when i bridge the conncetions in the diagnostic port!! can anyone help me with this problem?? also when i look at wiring diagrams i cant see were the switched feed is coming from...is it the ecu....or an ignition feed?? cheers
  7. ahhh really!!! yes that would make sense also!!! are the connectors the same?? I've been abroad for the past 2 month so havnt been able 2 get my hands on it!! but i wil defo look at that!! cheers bud!!

  9. i do an eml on...but it could be because of the decat. i will run a diagnostic when im back.
  10. i got my 4efte sportif with the ecu already wired in...my worry is that it hasnt been done correctly!! i got the engine running and it does run sweet as...do you think that if a few sensors were down i.e. map sensor,intake temp etc do you think it would run so well?? i havnt drove it yet...I've jus had it running on the spot...revved it etc. cheers
  11. i am the proud owner of a sportif turbo... and in the process of completing the conversion!! inevitably I've ran into a few problems...but i hav got the engine running....and running sweet!! i got the car with the ecu wired in (not sure if fully correctly, but shees running) the rear glanza axle has been put in as well!! problems encountered are: -fuel pump doesnt work unless i bridge the diagnostic port -has oem lsd which i didnt know (found out when shafts didnt line up)...so need shafts and rear mount -engine management light on -dont think the fuel cut is wired correctly...wires to ecu jus

I've been a member of this forum for a while and didnt even realise lol!! as my name states i hav a sportif with a 4efte partially converted!!! i got her runnin and thats about it lol!! it has the oem lsd...which i need shaft and mount for...and has the rear axel which i didnt put in!!! thats about it really il post some pics of her when i can!! cheers
