im jus starting the procedure of re registering the sportif with the glanza engine ...the problem is how to do it legally. i understand u need to put the engine number on the v5...but i dont have the donor car so cannot retrieve this of the chassis plate...is it printed on the engine anywere?!?! also anyone enlighten me on what else needs to be done to make it legit?!? apart from telling the insurance?!?! i have seen cars get crushed a few times due to peoples ignorance towards the law lol!! this help would be great!!! regards adam

update!!fmic in and plumbed in!!! i got a blitz ct9 hot pipe and chopped it to create much shorter routing, as im not running power steering went to merlin motorsport and got a reducer...job done!! oh and bought some white lockable aerocatches...thought they would look good wen i eventually get white wheels!! bought some blitz dcii gauges and lowering springs. pics to cpme

also i get a nice discount on new rota wheels ...I've had a look through the catalogue and im stil unsure on which ones to get?? anyone have any suggestions?? blurple is quite difficult to pick for lol!!

update!!! therm housing in a sorted...test drove her she goes lovely!!! 7 psi with the hi/low boost solenoid bypassed :S!! new actuator me thinks!! fuel pump wiring sorted, no switched ground from the ecu!! all wiring is now complete!! so bolted all the dash back in!! fmic by the end of the month, then exhaust n MOT .

i have an engine management light on...when i first ran a diagnostics it was knock sensor, so i sorted out the wiring and started her up. again when the rpm increased the eml came back on. so i ran another diagnostics and now it is continuously flashing, representing no codes?!?! any ideas cheers

on mine...the wire from the sensor is normal, non coaxial. but were it was cut, its coaxial?!? and its bright blue?!? im not sure about it lol, any ideas?? :S

is it an autobahn series 2 copy?? i want the pipework to poke out of the bottom like on bourkeys black sr

yeaa i have same problem mate, the wire was cut on mine. the wire is coaxial, to prevent interference, so it looks like a whole new one is needed. not sure though, would like the same question answered lol.

update...new gearbox and shafts in...clutch and brakes bled...diagnostics check revealed code 52?!?! knock sensor i fink!! but i drove her under her own power!! lovely!! thermostat housing cracked so need replacing!! next step: fmic and coilovers!!
