going to check the ignition timing tomorrow and have a fiddle with the idle screw but i dont see why it could be up and down up and down. ive tried 3 different idle control valves aswell

i think im just going to make my own up with a core as my ct9 can be rotated need to know the size of the hdi or the replicas though

yo guys and girls, still having a high idle issue the symptons have changed since last time now though, last time, it was idling slightly high, and dropping when pulling up to junctions, so much that the oil light would flicker, lights went dim and it was close to cutting out now, its idling really high, like 1700rpm, and then pulling up to junctions in nuetral it goes up and down between 1200 and 1700 rpm around 4-5 times then sits at around 1500-1600 rpm :/ im guessing with the fluctuations its an airleak, but i cant find the bastard! any ideas boys and girls? ryan

even if you dont mark them, there will be a line of shit from above the head and a clean part from where its been sat below its not difficult to check it with a light so its worth doing anyway -
