darker....its a touch tgtt-esque being dark. UKSC was always the light, tgtt the darkness!!! lol i liked how it was, think it just needed our side bars and other features plugged in. uksc is relaxing, mellow, chilled, light and airy, not dark and heavy...i thought the whole thing was to keep us looking as much like the old theme as possible?? i like the updated forum, just not convinved by the dark theme. it gives a dark ambience, and uksc has always been light and smooth. starting to see some blue coming in now tho, i like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! indeed. i like it, is fresh and clean and straight forward. also, the home page with the earth and the clouds, im sorry but i want that back. as admin that is one of the few things i want to throw my weight around on, i like that image and i think we can develop that page to really stand out and i fancy the caption "It's a UKSC world". but yea, all good! Folks, I have a question. The image I have as my avatar, it was made by a mate of mine many many moons ago, and it appears that neither him or I have the original file anymore. I believe the file was uploaded directly to the forum from my pc back then, and the forum then resized it to what we see now. my question is this....is there anyway to retrieve the file as it was uploaded into the forum?? is that file stored anywhere within the forum software that it could be retrieved from?? I asked my mate could he redo it but he doesn't have the program/tools he had then, and if i try to blow it up in paint or whatever it just pixelates like mad. can any of you IT gurus lend any insight into what is probably a daft question?????????? Thanks to all the UKSC family for a great 2011. I especially wana say thankyou for hanging in there with us during the ongoing technical issues with the forum which Geo is in the process of hopefully resolving once and for all at present! i know how frustrating it has been for everyone so thankyou for staying with us. we WILL get it fixed.
