  1. the rule of thumb of is traders only. also, the inherent safety / lawsuit issue would seriously concern me about having ANYONE sell these through UKSC. tbh this is one for Enzo to run through his sister before anything would be granted, but tbh, i wouldnt fancy it. Phil.
  2. thats fucking crazy!!!! i was genuinely cringing watching that! Phil.
  3. Nostradamus didn't predict that "two towers would fall on 9/11", what he said was " In the city of York there will be a great collapse, two twin brothers torn apart by chaos", he wasn't as precise as "two towers 9/11". also, im fairly sure the media have never told us the world would go pop. in my 6 years studying geography, geomorphology, and geology that included the Philosophical Implications of Quantum Thermo Dynamics on Geomorphology, I was never once lectured about the world going pop as a result of any geophysical/seismic occurrence, including "super volcanoes" before anyone
  4. Joel - no u don't, fool. sweep picking - yeah, im just totally giving up with that. im too lazy to take lessons and sweeping is just beyond me! Buckethead is simply - aural sex in my brain! i've become utterly obsessed with him. i have a canvas and a painting in my room, as well as the guitar, which i wana get a stretchy strap for like his! Phil.
  5. very nice dude! what do u play on her? Phil.
  6. well pulled the big broad leaf up yesterday...by fuck what a mess. 8 hours later and it still hadn't settled. then i couldn't get the plant to stay planted. so at 11 last nite i was STILL fighting with it. ended up cutting the roots off at an inch in length, then put a lead weight around the roots and sunk it best i could. hopefully by the time i get home tonight it will all have settled, and i bought two more bags of fine black gravel that i will layer on top of most of the substrate to cover the mess that is currently there as a mix of soil and gravel. on the plus side, once it all settl
  7. yeah, its Jackson/Charvel i reckon. man that is so sweet! i remember u telling me about that one! so nice! Phil.
  8. yeah i knew it was due for release, havent got it yet. would love to buy his whole back catalogue, but it would cost a mortgage lol! obviously cant see the headstock, but i'm gonna throw some random guesses out: Cort Ibanez Charvel Phil.
  9. ok bro cool. i'm hoping to pop in E-A next week with carol, i need to see annita about: 1. Bulbs 2. Heater (just being nosey/curious at this stage) 3. my planaria infestation - by fuck i want rid of those little bastards! Phil.
  10. nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! Phil.
  11. thanks bro, thats actually given me a bit of confidence about moving. gonna leave everything on the right hand side, all part of this rule of thirds when designing a layout, mega heavy planted on the right and at the rear i think will be the idea, leaving the annubis to populate the foreground. i might look into getting an inline external heater, then i'll remove the internal one and relocate that big broad leafed plant to that rear area of the tank, but cant really do it with the heater still there or it'll burn it....as i found out when i burnt myself on it a few weeks back lol. thanks for
  12. that breeding conditions must have room for movement because mine have bred for a second time here lol. would need to get a decent test kit, tbh its probably long overdue. regretting planting that big broadleafed fecker right the front, bloody stupid place for it, but not sure about moving it as its probably well rooted. but it totally hides the annubis which is starting to grow through it. see, aquascaping balls up 101, didnt plan it out very well lol. Phil.
  13. head light adjuster screws, all of them or especially the main big lower ones for adjusting the angle in the absence of a motor. Phil.
  14. ^^^ok cool man, i'll get a chat with Annita re. planted bulbs and the blue one. yeah he has some class stuff, although the water parameters probably need to be tighter than mine. Phil.
  15. ^^^watched Priest last week and really enjoyed it, it got mixed reviews in work but i liked it. Underworld - it was only in 3D here which utterly utterly ruined it for me. I thought the movie was great but the picture and colour and quality of the 3D was complete pish. Phil.
  16. yes they dont get that big, but i refer you to the experts below, 48" tank size minimum. http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?sid=4725 they are beautiful tho, i love them, but after reading that article not even my dad's tank is big enough for one let alone my own, so i can safely say i wont be adding any lol. my next move is a bulb change, think the marine T5s are doing more harm than good as mark and i discussed the other nite. time for some planted bulbs me thinks. also, fancy some blue shrimp and yellow shrimp from beeshrimp.co.uk, they am uber! Phil.
  17. couple of things man - not sure about tropical gobys, but the marine's sift the sediment, if tropicals are the same, i'd ask about the size of your gravel for him, may be too big. that humbug is class, as mark said, he had one, they're uber! i was reading up on red tails last week, they're not meant to be kept in anything less than a 7ft tank as they get so big but mark never had any issues with his. be careful gettin into the aquascaping side of things - the more i look into it the more AMAZING it looks and i get these bad ideas for my own tank and thoughts of relocating some of my plants
  18. dude...sinos get so big its not even funny!!!! good job u have them in with big tank mates! sounds epic man, lookin forward to pics. have u found u have developed an obsession that has taken over your car interest....i have lol! Phil.
  19. hope u get it all sorted soon buddy! take care! Phil.
  20. fuckin LOL at jizz in your mrs' mouth!!!!! thats a quality ambition! respect to that man! also, guitar is for winners! get it done! Phil.
