"And THAT'S the bottom liiiiiiiiiiiiiine, because Bower ...SAID SO!!!!!!" :D Phil.

cheers folks! fitted them last nite as its due to be dry for a day or two so good time to scrub them in a bit. Mark has used the Rainsport 2s before and rates them very highly, and my rainsport 1s lasted me 6 years, still had loads of tread left on the rear but were just too compacted and solidified to give grip from the tread anymore. hard wearing isn't the word for them lol! Liam - yeah it does look pretty mean against the blurple in the flesh, but the 5/4s are awesome. they are stupidly light were as the 15s have slowed her down a touch (thank goodness for that extra 0.05bar of boost lol) and the handling on them is just silly! honestly! and i love their obscurity, rareness and JDMness. Some fresh rubber will be on order for next spring for them, they really liven up the performance from the engine and handling. Phil.

the RB was such a contrast of a car. On the one hand it can cruise in silence, and i mean silence! not the slightest noise from her. but when the pedal gets planted, the sound is like 4 or 5 K1s on full roar at once, and the power is just instant sheer grunt! awesome! first scoob i've ever been in and i was very impressed!!! i now appreciate them alot more! Phil.

i'll take that lol! Phil.

very smart dude! nice one! Phil.

Phil.

Alrighty then folks, on sunday past there I was fortunate enough to join the local PH folks on their summer run up the NI coast. The route took us from Carrick up the A2 coastal road all the way to Ballycastle, on to Portrush, and then on to Magilligan where there was a BBQ set up. My cousin recommended I sign up to the PH forum and I keep an eye on the NI section for upcoming TVR stuff mainly. Unfortunately his Cerbera split a fuel line at the start of the day, but his brother in law had his VERY nice RB320 out for the day, so after a blast down from Sprucefield to Carrick in a TVR Tuscan (ohh my god!! I DROOLED SO HARD IN THAT CAR), we spent the rest of the day enjoying the luxury and sheer grunt of the RB320! anyways, enough of my spraffing, here be some of my pics from the run: Cousin's father-in-law's Porker: JDM Yo' I got a spin in the Tuscan on the left - now i want one: check out the butchness of the MPS! NICE! never gets old: tryin to talk my dad off bikes and into one of these so badly: yes please: nom nom nom: Spotted this trouble maker loitering around the car park!!!!! hooligan! sheer hooligan that man!!!! this thing has a carbon dash: Our chariot for the day: M12 anyone? IDM: Italian-Domestic-Market the chick in the audi was so hott it was savage! seriously! i badly wanted an excuse to talk to her!!!! damn! USDM Now for something a little disconcerting. Not only will the Police in NI chase you down in cars that are faster and handle better than your car, they will then proceed to make your ICE look shit, your interior look shit, your decals look shit, your wheels look shit....basically the PSNI rock the modified scence here in NI hard! check this kickass educational tool out! i personally thought their presentation was bang on, perfect length, good questions, and a class tool because the crowd this draws is huge!!! wish my car drew half the crowd this does!!! and it can chase u down and book you! fuck yeah!!!! love it! they gave out wicked window stickers too, and a snappy pen. and not one penny of it was paid for with tax payers money! result! Ladies and gents, meet Project Evolution. next time i think i'll take my motor along for the spin, get a few giggles im sure! Phil.

eeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wrong. wrong wrong wrong WRONG you're all wrong folks. and you know how i know???? Alan-e's matte black GT, the "Asbo GT" as its known, is obviously matte black...and how did he achieve said matte look?? why, simples of course! underneath it is the exact same black paint as all shiny black quadlights, however the LACQUER he has used is a matte effect lacquer, thereby giving the matte effect. not often i answer a question in the tech section hehehe! Phil.

lol u said it man! next is fitting the speedies, i have two more Apexi gauges coming from Riko so that'll be about 4 or 5 gauges to have wired in plus the speed reader, transparent blue cam belt cover from riko, i have an ALK here to fit too and other than that, not a great deal tbh. Phil.

with the fix-ups that Jay mentioed this thing is easily capable of over the 100bhp figure, f**kin easily! no nos, no turbo, no crazy ideas, just some good thinkin and sensibility has got her to the 100bhp mark!!! top work my friend! Phil.
-
cheers all!!!! Jay - there shall be no more talk of corners, there were only a few witnesses, and we will deny everything! lol Phil.
-
and the evidence. Blitz K1 turbo, Blitz decat, ported mani, HKS Silent Hi Power exhaust, K&N panel filter, NGK Iridum plugs, Magnecor leads, JAM FCD, HKS Adjustable actuator, WEPR FMIC, RRFPR. add that all together and you get 163.4bhp. Phil.

and for all the ney sayers, because we all know there will be the usual ones, here is the proof: Phil.

cheers bro! bucket - i dont think so mate no. i need this car mon-fri every week, i need her to be as close to 100% factory reliable as i can get her, because i dont have nor can i afford a back-up car right now with trying to save for a house. i dont doubt Jay will get a little more from her yet, maybe top 170hp in the future, but tbh im happy with her rolled back a little because it should lend itself to maintaining reliability. she is nippy enough to annoy plenty of bigger cars as she stands at present, the way she delivers the power is nearly instantaneous, so for now she is ideal for what i want her for. reliability but with boost enough to annoy people. running 1bar could give me more problems than i would care for lol! Phil.
-
yeah lol, i realised i'd balls'd up when i posted the results. ah well i dont think Joel will mind!!! best result of the day in my opinion!!!! she may not be running 100% but whatever Joel has done to this car it is working a charm! Phil.
