Charlies 99 Ep95 (on the road)
Nanglebadger replied to bucketep91's topic in EP85/EP95 4WD Progress Blogs
what a transformation this bad boy is!!! awesome work! Phil. -
it does indeed my friend, we fitted it a few months back. i mainly run main roads and motorways, so i have no major issues, the only time was on the 14s on Jay's lane, on 15s she'll be fine, but yes they do get the odd battle scar, esp if your suspension compresses in a dip right before a bulge in the tarmac or a rock then CABLAMM, and its a horrible noise! really freaks me out! big profile tyres wont go a miss either, think i'll be goin bigger on the 14s next season. also - that is the most immense collection of R2s EVAR! Phil.

I've been running one for a while now. on the 14s - pretty damn low tbh mate - yes it sometimes scraps, i have to watch the road ahead especially if its a road i dont know to look for high points in the middle between the tyre ruts if u will. i have to take speed bumps EXTRA EXTRA slow with it. now I've got the 15s on it aint so bad tho as she sits a little more reasonably high lol. but a big stone or nasty manhole cover could still easily catch it. handling - i noticed an improvement in turn in yes, at first i thought it caused oversteer but now that im used to it i like it, just helps tighten up the front a bit. would i recommend it - well, i can be a bit anal about braces and struts so from that aspect i'd say i would recommend one, it has improved my handling, but it depends how low your car is, even on a track u would loose it on the rumble strips if your too low, my brother didnt notice it when it was on his GT so he wouldnt recommend it, and i wouldnt recommend spending big dolla on them as they get BATTERED and bent in no time, i'd say opt for a JD Tuning one! Phil.

yeah, drove the bro's mrs's ZR a few weeks back, gotta agree, nice to drive nice and comfy. was very impressed with it! Phil.

G my old friend, i can 100% promise u that i havnt paid for any ferry bills. thats not to say i havnt paid for other things, but i have 100% not paid for ferry bills. fuel yes, as i drive to work every day, but ferrys no. rocker cover - yes. rolling road session - yes paint for sisters car - yes charitable donations in work for our yearly party - yes ferrys - no Phil.
-
^^^that sounds promising! Phil.

as rob has stated, if we can raise half of whats needed by tonight, so around £40 or so, i will cover the remaining difference myself to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible for those attending JAE. i cant do it all myself as I've had enough bills this month and i only got paid last week, so if those attending can meet me half way with around £40 it would facilitate the provision of a fully enclosed (read "DRY AND WEATHER PROOF") marquee for all those representing UKSC this weekend coming. cheers folks. Phil.

love it. i have a serious fetish for doing this to mine too, remove everything and polish/paint the floor all fresh, but, i like my music too much. looks superb buddy! keep it up! Phil.

i got Rainsport 2s fitted there last week Ryan mate, just back from bein out there, first blast in the rain, very pleased with them for to have only been run for 3 days! also, we live in NI, which is where rain is infact manufactured and utilised, what with this being the wettest place on the whole damn planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ergo, rain tyres here are a total must tbh. i dont waste time or money with dry weather tyres even for the summer, because our summer is only 0.1% less wet than out winter. we are the eternally moist here. Phil.

cheers folks, much appreciated. Lewis u are too kind sir! JAE - who knows, maybe some year ill get back over to it, need a few promotions in work first lol. Phil.

Anyone Heard Of 3 Guys 1 Hammer
Nanglebadger replied to madmax_926's topic in Not Work Safe - The Naughty Corner!
the next person to promote this kind of shit on UKSC is gone. period. i am aware no one has glorified it, because none of our members are sick like that. but i dont want it mentioned here again. not solely because of the arguments kicking off, but because I simply wont have this bollox associated with us. i rarely through my weight around, but this time I am taking advantage of my Admin status. People are free to view what they please, but not through here they aint. find something else to talk about. Phil. -
