TSP i think u should sell me that optional passenger footwell storage box now that I've given u such GREAT advice! its not FREE advice u know!!!!!! lol! Phil.

I've been in a couple of GTs, mainly jays. yes they are not as modern as contemporary vehicles, and u will notice a difference between them and the 91s, but really, when u sit in one and ask urself " do i REALLY need any more than this?" the answer is HELL NO! the 82s provide everything u need and even if u wana update it slightly its not hard to add seats or cd players or CF bits or paint some bits and bobs. i wouldnt let the fact that they are starting to get on in years as Jay might say put u off seriously considering one! Phil.

thats looks SWEET! leave it!!!!!!!!! looks like a great project there man! all the best with it! Phil.

im a 91 fan simply because i own one and am used to lookin at it, i love the styling of them, but thats not to say that i would never own an 82 or 85, hell i'd snap your arm off for a 71 turbo! with the right styling an 82 can look as pure evil as a well styled 91 in MY eyes. the interior of the 82s can feel SLIGHTLY dated if your used to a more modern car, but if your used to slightly older cars, maybe older mk escorts etc etc then its fine, it has all the mod cons that u could really ask for tbh. Phil.

i thought it was 5 but i could be wrong. and as ollie says, not all insurance companies recognise IAM but FLux do....which suits me fine! Phil.

agreed. u would think that the cost of insuring an n/a to FTE conversion would cost a lung and kidney on ebay...and u'd be right ordinarilly. HOWEVER, if u can keep your nose clean and stay CLAIM FREE for 5 yrs and PROTECT those NCB then it suddenly becomes ALOT more reasonable. Proof? SiCaln priced insuring his old n/a with an FTE conversion and 0 NCB and they wanted £2500. I have been quoted £561 fully comp FTE conversion with Adrain Flux with 6yrs protected NCB and IAM licence, when i asked how it was so favourable they simply said 5yrs protected NCB and IAM. I totally ag
