see this http://www.106owners.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=115469

dont you know throttle bodies= N/A??? thus a 106 gti with throttle bodies being 200bhp = an N/A 106 making 200bhp, and a 200bhp 106 would absolutely tank a 200bhp starlet lol
-
haha, the mighty lad claims, there work is good, but as proven over the years, there claims are very far fetched, better off shifting to toyota lol
-
yup, they are the best at building, theres a couple of over 300bhp turbo's on 106oc, and a couple of 300bhp saxos on saxp, heres a vid of a 240whp ax, making a cunt of a time attack evo lol http://youtube.com/watch?v=IT4G-YNGLo0&feature=related
-
john at gmc had a 300whp charged saxo, this was over 2 years ago, there is still one over 300whp in newton stewart, owned by john's daughters bf, sayin that, he has reciepts for over 30k with the car lol
-
indeed, the only decent thing to come from them was a torsion bar, and even then, its still shit lol, but the handling of the gti, is one of the best handling car i have ever driven, even clarkson has it as the top handling fwd car
-
ive had all types, throttlebodied xsi with a 16v engine, which pushed 180bhp proven at gmc, and if you done much with a saxo you'll know gmc are the dogs danglies, and was handy they wer on my doorstep a decomp plate aint exactly cowboy, yeh its not forged, but it still drops the compression, i seen a saxo produce 220 bhp with 2 headgaskets, now thats cowboy, running mf2 uprated injectors, and piper 505's?? did you make that up?? as there nnot really used, piper cams on the vts generally are the 285 if your upping the injectors, or 270 if you wanna use them on stadard management, a good set
-
welcome along, youve made the right choice shipping from pug to toyota, im one of the three being listed above lol thats your ICV or coolant temp sensor causing that, im sort of a pug expert after 5 years with 106's lol 180bhp isnt that hard really, throttlebodys will get there very easy, or a very cheap decompression plate turbo setup will get 230 sort of reliably lol its easy to spend on french cars, mine cost me over 5k in 5 months, main reason why i had to get rid, my pockets wer beggining to empty lol

white glanza is a tdo4 i think, is on TGTT
-
yeh im with the gundogs aswell, due to my upbringing, and work lol, i do like boxers i think the nonsense with staffy etc being dangerous, is due to them being a chav dog, and the little chav's riling them up till they growling and barking all the time, thus people assuming all dogs of that breed are dangerous, ive seen some bad dogs in my time like, and one of the worst ive ever seen was a black lab bitch, it just wanted to fight constantly, with whatever
-
dont think i put a newbie thread on, been snooping for a few weeks, so thought i'd say hi some pics of the 82 its basically standard, got some lightweight 5zigens, kakimoto race system, nardi steering wheel, trd gearnob, hks boost gauge. turbo timer, hks mushroom filter but got greddy FMIC, sps mani, hks FCD, hks Adj Actuator, Sard RRPFR, and hopefully getting a gizzmo EBC, and Apexi SAFC this week couple pics of the old car and the missus fixing it for me lol
-
welcome along mate, i see you made the same move as me away from the pugs, little shit boxes haha nice V
-
have you seen the conversion yet? just that your asking of chip in keys, immobolisers etc, when they dont come with them on a note with the wiring its easier to take all the looms and everything to convert it, as most others do, not sure if there is a guide with the wiring anywhere, might be worth a look on TGTT thought your 106 project just shit itself again??
-
yeh, if you dont have a FCd then it is you hitting fuel cut,
-
they look quite good, but ive noticed now, since the docking palava, boxers dont seel for that much now, about 3 years ago, they wer fetching £1000 a pup with any sort of crufts background in the pedigree, i run gundogs, field trials, working, as i used to be a gamekeeper, so ive got a load of them(4 labradors, 4 spaniels, hungarian visla, and 2 patterdale terriers) ive not long got rid of a litter of springer spaniel pups heres a couple of pics of the cheeky lil shits posing in the welping box, its quite lucky with the docking, with gundogs anyways, in england you can still get
-
you prob could yerself yeh, would save a bit of cash, sure someone must have done it, so would imagine there might be a guide ere or TGTT
-
do you have a boost gauge? how do you know the toytuning actuator is a t 1 bar, its adjustable right?? you'll need a boost gauge to set it properly, and then you will need a manifold before you go above standard boost, you can get the standard ones which have been ported, thats a cheaper method than a £300 manifold
-
you have no way of controlling the fuel at 1 bar, unless you have a RRFPR that you havent stated, so your car will be running super lean above the fuel cut, the thrid runnin in the standard manifold is very restrictive, and running above standard boost with this manifold will cause severe damage to your engine, probably causing it to shit itself, so be carefull, fit a RRFPR and a different manifold, decat, otherwise you will have alot more problems
-
that toytuning actuator will ruin your engine unless you sort you mani out, runnin 1 bar?? no FCD?? and standard mani?? be very carefull
-
thats it, good luck tryin to wire stuff in there, ive jsut put a FCD in mine, and what a night mare, proper shit lol

Need Help! Glanza V ..no Turbo Boost
scot-ish replied to ahoward87's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
deffo lost boost mate, to me that amount of loss would indicate props on the compressor side fucked, which you would know about it, or a severe boost leak somewhere -
Need Help! Glanza V ..no Turbo Boost
scot-ish replied to ahoward87's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
sure its not a glaza s lol, are all the boost pipes fitted correctly?? sounds as though you could have a sever leak. any noise on idle when you rev it a bit??
