.................................................. .................................................. GROUP BUY .................................................. .................................................. *** Toy Tuning Stainless Steel Carbon Braided Brake Line Kits *** .................................................. .................................................. http://www.toytuning.com/onlineshop/groupb...esets25discount Pricing: £55.00 inc VAT & UK Mainland Delivery (Retail £74.00/25% Discount in GB!) Please contact us for a delivery quote if you are outside of the UK mainland. Application: All Starlet models Description: Very similar to the Zep Racing brake lines but a nice a saving price wise. These kits come with four braided stainless steel teflon brake lines finished with a carbon look protective sleeving made to the highest standards, only the highest grade stainless steel components are used and their are no mild steel components. Each kit comes with CNC machined fittings, banjo bolts, new copper washers, stainless steel braided teflon hoses, PVC protective wipe-clean sleeve, Toy Tuning logo and lifetime warranty. Like the Zep kit these replace the two front rubber hoses and the four rear hoses (one line is used to go directly from the metal line union to the caliper union on the rear). Why fit braided brake hoses? The OEM flexible brake hoses are made from rubber, these hoses tend to expand under the hydraulic pressure from the brake system, this results in the effort from your foot expanding the hose instead of stopping the car. Primarily this reduces brake feel. Fitting Toy Tuning Brake Hoses to your Starlet removes this flexibility from the brake system and gives the brake pedal a much firmer feel, resulting in sharper, more precise brakes. Hi all, Our Full weld in roll cage was recently completed so we will be selling the complete shell with cage as one unit. Whoever buys will need to supply a set of wheels and shock absorbers/springs to ensure she is a rolling chassis, we can leave the coilovers on there but they will need to be returned. Current spec is: Clean Shell with Full Professionally Welded Multipoint Roll Cage in CDS Double Door Bars Front Strut Triangulation Bars Dash Bar 6 x Floor Points Rear Diagonal Rear Cross Members Harness Bar Foot Plates + more Fully FIA approved for Motorsport All designed and made by the UK's leading roll cage fabricator. The car will also have: Lower Arms Track Rods/Ball Joints Stock Fuel Tank Rear Brakes Front/Rear Hubs New Handbrake Cables We paid £2250.00 for the roll cage for materials and labour all in. We will be looking for £1750.00 for the car as it is. You can sell off the remaining parts and make back near £500.00, so all in the shell with cage would cost roughly £1750.00 which is near half what it costs to get your Starlet to this spec, and thats not including having a clean shell in the first place. If anyone is serious about having a base car of this standard then please get in contact with us. Thanks, Toby Pictures (we will update the thread with the latest pictures asap as these are a few months old and the cage has been re-worked to some detail since):

Starlet Nath's Glanza Conversion
Toby@ToyTuning.com replied to Starlet Nath's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Hey mate, Yeah 4 weeks for our TT full Antilift kits, 3 weeks for ARB Poly Bushes, 3 weeks for Poly Rear Arm bushes and the others will be shortly after that. Doing every possible bush in poly. I personally would not bother using any camber or toe on the rear waste of time for what is invloved just get some negative camber on the front, some positive castor and go from there. Edit: If we can pull 3G's through the corners without rear adjustments so can you T -
Starlet Nath's Glanza Conversion
Toby@ToyTuning.com replied to Starlet Nath's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
You don't need to alter the rear axle at all, the saying that Starlets don't handle is a complete myth. Yes the rear axle isn't the worlds greatest setup but it's not bad by any means. With careful attention to detail and concentrating on the right parts it will be up there with the best of them I can assure you. Most add brace after brace but neglect the most important aspect, bushes. This is why we have a full line of poly bushes coming out to go along with our poly engine mounts. There are so many variables to discuss with handling it's untrue, the most basic of parts like ball joints/track rods if left untouched will seriously effect the disposition of the car. Couple that with 80,000 mile + worn bushes like lower arm front and rears, rear suspension arm, panhard, ARB D and link bushes, engine mounts, top mounts etc etc then it's no doubt they don't handle well. No point in adding any aftermarket chassis bits until the bushes are done. Adding a rear ARB is also essential as they don't have one as standard will make the world of difference. Wheel diameter, offset and tire choice also play another part. Anyone who has been in any of our demo Starlets will paint a very different picture. Another fundamental aspect is roll cages, the Starlet floor plan is pretty thin, hell it wasn't designed as a track car it was a city runner. Adding even a simple bolt in will make the world of difference. The more points the better, a weld in takes things to a whole new prospective, start adding in things like front strut triangulation bars and you will be laughing all the way around the track. Couple that with the fact that they are FWD we will always have more confidence than 4WD or RWD boys as they are a lot less predictable and harder to drive on the limit, all we have to deal with is under steer and the odd cock of the leg It's like when people compare a Starlet with a new bread van type R civic it's just not a fair comparison, they were made 10 years later. Compare the Civic of the time with the Starlet and it's pretty even Stephens. That is the case with the GT, with the Glanza civics's admitingly had moved on by then and rather than changing the design Toyota kept it to save a pretty penny which we all would have done when there is billions involved. If you look at the original civic when the GT was relased, eveident from old BM tests, the GT walks over it in a straigh line and on the bends so it really shows you they were pretty good for the time. Add with that the countless amount of aftermarket parts available you can turn you Starlet from a shopping trolley to a track monster over night. Admintingly in stock guise it won't set any records but it wasn't meant too it was meant to be a city car. With the right application, thought and time it will be a true handling monster. Just my 2c And Nath great progress by the way love seeing them in the flesh! Hope you get that wheel sorted as well buddy I'll keep an eye on this sorry for spamming the thread but leave the rear axle as it is! T -
Yeah that price isn't bad at all T

Where you based in the world as climatic temperatures will play a huge part. If you are in the UK then a good quality 10w 40 Semi Synthetic with regular changes every 3000 miles (with filter) will be more than fine. We personally use Shell Helix but any good quality oil will be fine they have come a long way since the 60's T

Please contact us for a delivery quote if you are outside of the UK mainland. Application: All EP related models Description: Toy Tuning S/S Braided Clutch Hose for all Toyota Starlet models.
