I did read it hence my post Standard filters should be changed at service as they are paper. He was talking about a K&N filter in his first post, then if you read your post you say to bin the filter at every service. Expensive

Go to halfrauds and get one of their batteries, they have a chart which tells you the one to buy. The battery is the same as the uk N/A

You wot????? You are talkin complete tosh there son. A K&N filter has a million mile warrenty! At £30 a pop i wouldn't be chucking it in the bin!!!! The correct method is to clean it with soapy water, dry it properly then oil it with the correct oils from K&N Standard panel filters should be binned. A panel filter will give the best gains as it's enclosed away from engine heat. A blowing exhaust won't help fuel economy either.

Does it smell sweet or oily?? what colour is the smoke? If it's decatted it may be the oil seals in the turbo leaking slightly due to reduced pressure.
