  1. No-one is having a go mate, but too many people just up the power without thinking. Everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to it. Her car has cusco suspension by the way.
  2. Yeah you did, granted, but you then totally disregarded it as being important. Starlets are notoriously bad at braking and handling so sorting those out first WILL give you a faster car. JEEZ is it that hard to understand
  3. At least Joz and Kierz can see whats being said. Stopping distance improves vastly with the correct tyres/braking/suspension set up so yes it does make a considerable difference. If you put two cars side by side one standard and one with improved braking/tyres and suspension set ups, took them both to 60mph and hit the brakes at the same time which would stop quicker?? Sometimes it helps to look outside the box guys!
  4. By fitting the greenstuff pads you have uprated the braking ability of your car. 99% of the time people go balls out getting their cars faster but neglect the important stuff, i love going stupidly fast at times(have maxed out my GT4's many times...thats 150+mph) but i always drive within mine and the cars capabilties. Neglecting the braking of your car is at your own risk. As i said before it should be a first basic mod, then as your feast for speed/power increases and the spec list increases you don't have to find out the hard way that sorting the brakes out shoulda already been done. Fit
  5. NO shit sherlock! I don't know how much you know cars or GT/Glanza's but i've had a few and braking is not one of their strong points. You know as well as i do that mods snowball pretty quick once you start tinkering it's never enough! The first mods i do to any car i own are a CAT 1 alarm then if i plan on making it faster in the future i sort the braking out, even if it's just a set of decent pads till i up the power enough to need the discs uprated too.
  6. Standard GT/Glanza brakes are shite! A decent set of brakes can make much more of an impact on point to point times as they perform better allowing later braking and less time on the brakes. The usual route people take is air filter-exhaust-decat-manifold-FMIC-BOOST CREEP-HKS actuator to try and combat creep-FCD( or electronic boost controller- upping boost-then suddenly OH SHIT BRAKES ARE CRAP! Sort the basics out first before buying go faster mods.
  7. Do it online but be aware you can get done for failing to display a valid tax disc if you drive it.
  8. BRAKES! Sort out braking and handling before upping power! Power is nothing without control Improving discs and pads will make you faster too
  9. uprated fuel pressure regulator, possibly injectors, some would say an uprated fuel pump but thats not needed. If you're not upping the boost then why have an FCD fitted???? I suspect someone has already upped the boost before, then put it back to standard before they sold it on.
  10. nope. 9.76KB Fuckin computers i hate them!

  15. That would be a reliable alfa. ;)
  16. And you are who again.........???????????????????? ;)
  17. Thats how they kill engines! No fueling mods-FCD removing the safety cut off -turning up the boost -leaning the mixture and hey presto 1 fucked engine! Not saying you have a fucked engine but if you aint got fueling mods it's only a matter of time.
  18. Mate......if she burned to death i'd shag the ashes!!! Gorgeous!
  19. Throw it away! It will help you in the long run to put some electronic management on instead. Thoses FCD kill engines!
