Touch your heat shield after a good run and tell us how hot it was! The difference is minimal, also the shield is there for aesthetics, peeps don't wanna see the skanky standard mani.

Mines fine and i took it off with no probs since. Nordonion, where was the steam from, rad cap or rad itself? Think you may have a diff prob? The heat shield is there to prevent you burning your hand on the mani,no other reason! It's a metal item touching the mani so it wont keep the engine any cooler! It's gonna be a very similar temp to the mani it's sitting on. Take it off it'll be fine!

Depends on the time and place! Apologies for being crude Alena, but yeah they do look a bit like a micra. Might wanna rethink your technique then mikey!
-
Thats a bit of step down ain't it? Regarding suspension it'll depend on how deep your pockets can go dependin on what you're after!

Do not fit 17's! You will look like your driving a rollerskate! Stick to 15's as you dont have a lot of power and they won't affect drivability.Cost of postage depends on who you get to carry them, try postvan. www.postvan.co.uk i think it is. -
Originally on many veilside cars from a few years back, celica, supra, civic, hyundia coupe etc etc.have a look on the veilside web site.

Take it off,i got rid of mine for the same reason and to see if my mani was cracked.

Turbo's are generally dead or on way out around 75k miles or 120k km,service history is the only way to tell if it's been looked after properly, have a look on the turbo technics website, very good info on buying turbo cars! If it's had the restriction removed on 1-2nd gear check it over carefully as it may have been modified in other ways too, possibly run with higher boost.Possible engine damage. Was it cold when you were there? once warm it should idle around 8-900 revs.

Did you make that up!? One day on the roads an you got a flat, had an accident, caused and participated in some roadrage(my favourite part of driving) and nearly got your head kicked in twice! Lil tip,if you gonna do roadrage, make sure your either built like big daddy know kung foo or similar,or got a fast car to get the hell outta dodge if the poo starts flyin!! Welcome to the joys of driving! -

I have 16's on my GT but many go for 15's as they're a bit lighter. I'm not fussed if a little bit of performance is lost through the larger wheels.

The KEI wheels in gunmetal finish are nice.
-
