I changed the coolant in my car today with the red toyota stuff,think i overfilled it a little as a bit came out after a drive round not much though.Once i started the car later ,still warm, the temp needle wouldn't rise at all till i got home. Heaters are hot and hoses are hot too. Any ideas?

Specks are probably just a bit of soot from the exhaust that shows up because it's a white car.Dampness on the car in the morning would trap some soot.

You could try putting a can of engine cleaner thru it before shelling out for a new cat.

You don't need to resize it,i had the same prob! You need to take the IMG tags off the ends of the URL from photo bucket.That should sort it for you.

£400 will get some good shock/spring combos good all rounders.Theres a set of tein coilovers for around £300 on TGTT,but one needs a refurb,about£120 for that i believe.

Buy some coilovers,or could get the FMIC,suspension would be a good move first though i reckon.

Looks like a fiesta to me with the spoiler& M3 mirrors,DTM's would look neater,looks better with the lip on the front. Not my cup of tea,but can see how much work has gone into it.

Not yet,theres not alot of room in mine either! Might end up making a bit of a bracket to come down from a bolt on the suspension turret and bolt it to that,have to put my thinking cap on and see what i can find in the garage!

Settle down now,think it was meant as an off hand comment,i doubt it was serious! As has been said before all are welcome here as long as theres no full on scrapping causing nonsense between members.We are quite a small group who benefit from each others knowledge and experiences,everyone has valuable input at somepoint,even you idrees_sr!

Anyone fitted a power boost valve to their starlet/Glanza? I have one but don't have any instructions and i'm not sure if a bit is missing. If anyone has some instructions lying about i would appreciate them.Cheers.
