The grooves are there to skim the pad and get rid off the gasses caused by brakeing.Stops the pads becoming glazed which affects the ability of the brakes to perform as wellas they should.A local garage put standard pads on mine at a service and they were glazed and crap at stopping after a coupla hundred miles thanks to some spirited downhill driving! Got ebc's on the way though.

Greenstuff for sure,real good bite from cold and v little dust.redstuff is designed for heavier cars and need some warming up before using properly,think a starlet might struggle to get them up to temp and keep the heat in them.Think 3G discs are only £100 on ebay.

Well i looked at getting one a coupla years ago when my GT4 had damn near bankrupted me! Damn they drink super unleaded! But couldn't find one that i liked,so bought an almera GTi as a run round for a bit (good sleeper car, rapid) punted that off in the auction and bought a skyline GTS that was going cheap because it needed registering.Had that a year went to sell it and the twat who came to buy it forgot to shut the bonnet properly, went for the test drive and you can guess what happened at 50mph! £2000 + bill for the damage,roof,bonnet,windscreen and labour !! TPFT insurance.That went on ebay.Got made redundant so went lookin for a car thats cheap to run and insure and found my lil starlet in a dealer in bristol and thats my story.The end.

I don't see why you should do anything that she says,she sounds like one of lifes whingers.Turn it up next time she comes over to complain so you can't hear the whinging.Then she can see what it's like when it's right up loud! We have a woman in our street who plays that bloody song that has the from paris to berlin lyrics (cant remember what it's called)in her clapped out old mondeo,it's always at the same point when she leaves and returns! I don't see how revving your engine is racist.If you go to a muslim country you must abide by their way of life or risk jail,no drinking no bacon butties(They dont know what they're missing there)etc so if we must fit into their ways then they should accept ours if they choose to live here! I'm not racist in any way but if you dont like it here then SOD OFF BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY!!!! it's seen as an easy way to get a nice lump of compo to shout racism. Sorry if i've offended anyone but thats the joy of free speech we have here in the uk.

They dont look black in the pics but the rims are black on the inside and edges with the face being kinda polished.They are darker in the flesh.Sold as hyper silver but the two are the same finish apparently.I had the same ones on an old car i had.By hyper black are you thinking of actual black rims? They only rub if i'm really pushing it on a bumpy bendy bit of road,throwing the car round like a nutter! ;) Only had it scrape once or twice.

Yeah it's from awesome imports,some kiddie in yate had it before me i think.

It came with GAB adjustables,bloody hard but real good,front ones were knackered so had to get them rebuilt by Falcon shocks in poole.Top guys down there good service £300 and they are as good as new. so much better for it. ;)

Thanks guys. Alot of folks like the colour,might do the rest of the car the same,it's lush when clean and the sun's on it! Can't really go much lower on the front theres a bit of scrubbage in the twisties as it is and over the speed bumps round my house,and i've whacked the exhaust on them too ;) the back can come down a little bit yet though.

I'll get it,eventually. ;) Best way to learn is to get wrong a few times and figure out wots going wrong. ;)

An air bag is like a small bomb just waiting to go bang! Wait till someone who has done it tells you what to disconnect for sure,It's gonna hurt if that goes off when you least expect it to! I'm interested to know too because i wanna change my steering wheel soon.
