  1. cool. will do mate. i only ask because when i asked on my colt last year the guys were like 'oh its about 6screws' it took me a week to get it off, it was screwed in all over the bloody place. ill have a bash monday when i lower it.
  2. hey, just wondered if its as easy as it sounds? screw it on, cut the sides off, do the sides then need to be fiberglassed or are they ok just cut? couldnt find a how to or anything on it really, also does anyone have a link to how to remove the front bumper? cheers guys.
  3. yea, it heats up quicker when i do that but its bloody freezing!!! ive got a new thermostat anyways, cant be fooked to do it today though, ill do it monday when i lower it because ive gota piss about takin all that plastic trim off underneath.
  4. will do, ill take some pics when im doing it, i think its the botom hose that has the thermostat in near the block because theres a cap on the block there. just a quick question, im guessing i do but does all the plastic trim under the bumper/engine need to come off to get at the botom hose? im guessing yes because i cant get to it form the top. cheers guys.
  5. lol. read my post, think were having the same problem sort of....
  6. ahhhhh, cool, ill do that then, weres the thermostat located??
  7. hey, it seems to take quite a while for the temp gauge to get to the right level when i first get in ona morning, (half way between hot and cold) it gets there at a normal speed as long as i dont have the heater on full and hot. if i leave heater off id say it gets there at the right amount of time compared to my latst 5 cars. it blows out pretty hot air when its on hot, but the temp gaige drops very slightly when ive got it on full and hot... thats about all i can tell you. should i flush the rad and fill it with new coolant??? if so, how do i go about doing that? just take the botom hose o
  8. not sure ona post code, if you google it itll come up, or just google map castleford because its in town,
  9. yeah x scape could be a good bet, theres plenty of room up there, and next to motor way so should be pretty easy for everyone to get there. shall we get numbers down then??? and any ideas on a day, can do any day from 6p.m part from thur friday, or anytime monday and tuesdays as im off work.. 1.chris

  11. true. best go for your test drive and see what you thinks then,
  12. itll definately handle better, if your not bothered to much by power then you may be ok, id just suggest driving a glanza aswell first because you definately wont buy the civic then.
  13. id try get a glanza to be honest, i think youd b abit disapointed with the 1.4 civic, you definately need to get at least the 1.5, or even go with the 1.3, i cant remember exactly what it was but the 1.4 was definately the bad one of the bunch, i was gona buy my step dads mums 1.4 civic but my stp dad told me not to bother, so i go the 1.3 colt instead, having driven all of them and my old fto, ive got say the glanza is by far the best and puts the biggest smile on ya face!!!.
  14. just wondered if anyone fancied planning something? if poss monday or tuesday or maybe one night (work all weekend im afriad). could meet at a retail park one night somewere? just an idea.....
  15. pretty good, arguably the best handling hatch back money can buy, when a few choice mods are applied, the engines speak for them selfs, brilliant, very similar to the colt (ive had one of them because there a bit diferent) but theres a million more parts available for the civic than a colt. which engine are you looking at because the 1.4 petrol was pretty crap, youre better off trying to source the 1.5 or if you can the 1.6 sir or even better the type r. or if you can afford it and find one, the civic jordan. the yellow ones, they had some uprated suspenion parts from standard and they hold t
  16. haha, thats the missus (honest) shes been warned, i went through the rubbish in the kitchen too. she chucked my jap baby on board sticker, my last 6 payslips and my bloody V5 in the bin too!!!! wommen, and she is a little cutie yea, been very sicky today though, all on the G.f though, (me and the little one have made a deal)
  17. lol. strut- yep sorry, got a front one on now to, just a little update, ive had loads of parts sitting arpund for bloody ages, went to fit them today but the blanking plug i ordered to fit the rx7 intercooler, my G.F chucked it in the bin not impressed, so ive ordered another one of them, my sexual alpine head unit, model cde 9880r. went to fit that and the wiring harness isnt right so ive had to order another one of them, my mate forgot to bring the spring compressors so i couldnt get it lowered. but......... i did manage to fit the carbon eyebrows!!!wooo, at least something went on to
  18. your anitlift kit is the best way to go to het a little more traction, im just trying to find one at the right price. my manual V with a few mods will spin 1st,2nd and 3rd if its really wet. in the dry just 1st and 2nd
  19. right bung bought, the pipe i removed from the rocker cover to old standard dump valve fits so ill cut that down and use that as the pipe, cheer sboys, looks like youll beat me to fitting micky!!! damn christmas post....
  20. lol. yeah yours is a cut n shut micky, thats why i reserved it for you. lol. nahh its because theres two diferent series that fit, series 4 and series 5, weve obveously got one of each thats why yours dont have brackets on the left or that little stumpy pipe coming off it and mine does, im gona cut the brackets off the left anyways because they look a little untidy. so, if i by a 2" piece of rubber hose to go over the little metal tube on tmic, a metal bung for in the end of the rubber hose, and just clamp them up nice and tight that should sort it?? cool. cheers guys.
  21. hmm, works for me, heres the pic anyways, the rubber bit just under the 2nd cable tie in from the left, on the strut bar,
  22. http://www.viperperformance.co.uk/products...amp;filter=10mm would one of these do, or would the pressure in the tmic blow it out?
  23. http://photobucket.com/albums/f25/rubix_cu.../Picture010.jpg hi guys, if you click the link, im tyring to find the little rubber stopper on the top left corner of the tmic, ive been to all the motorfactors in my area and none have any or any advice on were to get one. that pipe isnt needed for the glanza so i need summit to block it off with, thanks in advance.
