The Redbull has a screw loose! I think my reflexes may be getting old, given my great age compared to most of you lot! I'm doing the Vettel/Suzuka thing while it's there - at least I got my ranking greatly improved. From 171,000ish-th to 109,932th. "yay", more work needed methinks. Gold is 1:25.00, the online record is 1:03.146. I blame the ;) EDIT 1 - 99,033rd (1:20.70) EDIT 2 - 69,190th (1:17.77)

I'm downloading instead of work!!! It's be a WMS catch-up evening later methinks....

Hmmmm, for $4.99 you can buy the "course pack"....which is Spa and some go-cart track. (I want Spa, may have to investigate...) That's assuming they are not going to get hacked again - I haven't given them my CC details up to this point!

Reminds me of the infamous choc machine in the refectory at the college I went to.....we noticed that one slot (C18 rings a bell!) used to work for free! People who knew had free Yorkies for years as they never fixed it, just kept filling it up with more....

1UZ V8 FTW! Is there room...? -
Very very cool, and needless to say "not safe"! I think he was the the one who was forced to fly though a cloud of bits of a guy who had been flying in front but hit a bridge at 120mph... (blurgh)

Anyone else notice TGTT seems to be run poorly lately?

Sites with 3-letter word search blocking drive me mad too - I can't search for WMS! -
I'm in sunny Hastings/Bexhill! I'm hoping to borrow a hub off Bean so we might get something sorted before that - fingers crossed. Be good to have a straight-fit upgrade for the standard KP strut!

Own or work for a business with less than 10 employees?
Keri-WMS posted a topic in Lifestyle General
Nothing tooooo exciting, but politicians (of all species, this isn't about sides) keep saying they'll help small businesses and refer to them as "SME"'s. Actually "SME" covers 99.9% of businesses in the UK, bunching big corporations in with one-man plumbers etc - which makes the figures look better! So basically this is to get the powers that be to stop being vague about who they are really helping. starlets vs fiat punto's santa pod drag day
Keri-WMS replied to Dean @RW-Developments's topic in Lifestyle General
I've wanted to suggest this for ages!!!! UKSC vs PSC.... Such a good idea, shame there's not a 100-0 class in drag racing. -
It's been kicking around for years, so there's a lot of tuning parts available (from the UK). But it's a old beastie now - 90-110bhp in standard trim (Transit to Escort RS2000 spec), and roughly 165bhp fast road, 180bhp rally/trackday spec 2.1 and allegadly over 200bhp for 2.2/2.3/2.4 overbored break the bank full-race jobs.

Have you RWD lads seen this?!!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220863832182 Not mine but I wish it was - 'busa powered KP60 on banded steels! The forum won't let me put photos here due to eBay's active img links, worth saving though?

You did indeed - I've been trying to get my mitts on a hub but they are not exactly common, did you say you had one I can borrow? I'll do you a PM in a sec.

Not as far as I know! I'm moving house this month so things are a bit mad. I'm catching up on email today, so watch your inbox..

I'm loving this build!! -
I used to do this with BMW E30 front struts - I developed a tweeked kit for it!
-
I expect a version of one of the existing Toyota/WMS kits will fit - just need to borrow a hub to confirm it and firm up the specs, and get brake lines sorted/fit checked etc.

Just need some 45DCOE / DHLA's and the Pinto starts to make sense! I miss my brother's RS2000... If you build it all up with a drivetrain for a pinto you can always swap it for a Cossie YBT or n/a Cossie head swap later on!

Your drawing is the correct layout. If the disc (with or without spacer) is too flat you can add spacers between the strut and the caliper - but NOTE that you need to get longer bolts as well to compensate!!! (or the caliper might fall off) They are fine-pitch M12, ask your local Toyota dealer to look up the bolt specs on different models and you might get lucky, plus you'll know they are high enough grade (very high tensile strength). Hope that helps!

The brackets for the new 295x26mm kits are on order / being machined now....

Aw whaaaaaaaaaat?!!! FFS, glad you're ok. Nice to hear the brakes were working well before the tyres chewed through the line at least! Nearly every time one of my brothers tries to sell or strip a car it ends up bent before they get a chance, happens a lot to other people I've heard too.
