  1. here we go again back to the build, right as you know the wheels were white then black and now i found the color i like, cadburys purple! heres some pics for you also i been bored thinking of whats next on the car and started adding to the stickers on my seat,
  2. yeah that was a good idea, as i was getting wet feet out on track, as the car leaks
  3. i am looking at buying a new manifold but it is for a vf turbo, but would a td series turbo fit? or are the flanges different?
  4. its on the back of the control box its just a little switch,
  5. i did pop over to the stand, but no one was about,
  6. just looked on mine and the one with the arrow is a vent and doesn't need to plumbed in to any thing, have a look on the back of the controler as it might need to be switched over to run a actuator, hope this helps
  7. right after 1500 miles on my new engine and trax the car is looking better then ever, heres a pic of the car on track and i do have video of it but i havent seen it yet so i hope it ok when i get it now a week later its started to leak oil from the oil pump which i think is a seal gone which isnt to bad,
  8. road kill! good luck mate and i will finish the bit for this weekend and get it back to you asap,
  9. just shows that there alot more to it then just power, but you were flying tho i give you that !
  10. tell me about it! i couldn't put any power down though the corners, but the last run i had it was nice and dry

  14. right get a new bolt, and a tap and die set, and recut the threads before trying to bolt it back together! also empty your pm box!
  15. i just rubbed them down with wet and dry and just use normal primer then a cost of paint, and sparky its wicked!!!
  16. you dont need any head work but it all helps, and if you run a td04 on a std 5e that would be nuts! i dout there would be any engine lag, but i dont know of any one that has run std 5e pistons with a tdo4
  17. yes there is, as far as i understand the 5e pistons have a +3cc dome on the top of the piston, which would give you a higher compression ratio, if you up the compression ratio you redues the engine lag, so to drive it off of boost, would feel like a n/a car,
  18. you can just put pistons in, i think id works demo car was running std pistons but then it up to you how much money you want to spend! and i dont but there loads of info on the site about the 5e
  19. look for the 5efe or the 5efhe engines, i think the 5efhe have got a better cams tho, and 5e pistons will fit in a 4e but the rods are longer in the 5e,
  20. that a good reason to not break this car ! your so close fella dont stop now! did you sort out the brakes?
  21. i think it to do with miss banzai,
  22. right its back on the road and i have already racked up over a 100miles on the new engine! with no problems so far! i have only took it up to .4 of a bar of boost to start with and let the engine wear in before going nuts. i was hoping to do a oil change around 200 to 250 miles as then it should be getting there by then, once again i got to say a big thank you to AJ for the mot and all the help to get the car this far, all i can say is i owe you big time!
