  2. right dude this is a real long shot but it worth a go try a m10 spline tool its just a bit bigger then the the m9 you might be lucky i got this kit but i am sure your find cheaper sets about http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/...-hex-key-sets-2 also are you just replacing the head gasket? or a full rebuild?
  3. back to it this time its was to clear out the the engine bay so that ment steering rack and gearbox out, i and going to paint the gear box as it out and hope to repaint the engine bay, i am hope to get rid of my power steering as well and have a non power rack in it so this is the pics at the end of today
  4. right good news my pistons should be here tomorrow also i been working on the dash fitting a battery cut off switch and i have got a harness for my turbo timer heres a quick pic of it all lit up right as the heater are gone completey now i thought i would block up the holes and fit my cut off switch there some 6mm mdf to fill the hole we had some new glue at work to test to see if it any good so i thought i try some on my dash
  5. its been good day today so i have got around to doing some more to the car, as you all no i have no heaters so i have ripped every thing out that is to do with the heaters in order to save weight, but behind my dash theres loads off looms that do bugger all so i have got rid off them, and the sound deading behind the dash! this is what it looks like behind my dash i really want to sort it out and the bits that are not needed now and the best bit of the day was that my head is back all freshly skimed ready for the rebuild also i am working on the next bit for the car, which will help

  10. moving the washer bottle just tidys up the engine bay, and thank you idrees for the offer, but i going to use forged pistons and rods this time, as running what i was, there wasnt any real diffrence to a 4e
  11. friday night was a race to get to adams, so that he would remove the valves out of the head for me so that i could keep cleaning out the ports on the head, so i ended up with a load of bits looking like this on my bench at home now today i started to clean out the car and remove the headlining as theres really no point it being there now as the whole car is pretty much striped out, also cheers to robbie for given me a hand to clean all the sound deading off the roof, then it was time to sort out the windscreen washer bottle, which i to moved to the rear quater panel, then was the job of

  13. i have done a bit more tonight in the way of running wires for my boost controller which might be for sale, and i have started to remove the head lining because its added weight, as the engine is in bits i thought i would get on with cleaning the head ready for the valves to be removed cleaned and refitted with new valve stem seals, also i have started to clean out the ports in the head to help air flow,

  15. headgaskets arent to bad to do! it would pay to mark the cams ( i think there marks on them already tho) as you have to take them out to remove the head bolts, if you need a headgasket i got two here, a oem one and a 2nd hand metal one
  16. right got on to sorting the car out today and sadly it meant that the engine had to be taking apart once again to find out the problem, and this is what i found so i not too sure what to do next now!

  18. i am not 100% sure what it is sadly, at the moe its blown oil in to the air filter, keeps breathing very heavy and also its smoking badly on boost
  19. cheers Idrees i was hoping to start ordering some light weight panels for it, but its started to smoke badly on boost today
  20. back on to working on the car today with mounting a boost controller, turbo timer and ciggy lighter, first was the ciggy light to be cut in to the centre panel then time to fit the the turbo timer then the same with the boost controller just got to plumb in the rest of the boost controller and get a new harness for the turbo timer,

    the pump in the pic can be taking out completely, i can try and work out the lenghts for you but mine front lines are one piece. they run from the cailper to the T piece, and sicaln i am working not to far from you next week if your still not 100% sure

    2x T pieces (10x1mm) 8x unions (10x1mm) copper brake pipe (unsure of sixe as i went braided lines) brake line flaring tool right start at the abs pump undo the brake lines that go in it there then undo the lines off the brake master cylinder, you should be albe to remove some of the lines from the car now front brakes! on the top of the inner wings there a joiner for the brake lines, undo the brake lines on the side that run to the abs unit, you will have to make up 2 new lines from the joiner to a T piece ( which can be bolted to the bulkhead) the make up another line to ru
