  1. i got track time at 10.00 but i cant see any for 11.40

  4. mine was mapped at a .9bar with very little lag on a td04,
  5. good work on the engine fella! i cant wait to see what runs, as it was the same as mine apart from the headgasket,
  6. right finished of the rocker cover now all sprayed up ready to be fitted

  8. right i been working on my rocker cover lately as i been saving for the next big bit, it started life looking like this so i striped it and started sanding it down but sadly got a bit carried away and sanded all the ridges of it! then i sent it over the road to be all the fitting welded on then to finish off a couple coats of primer ready for the finial colour
  9. idrees i wish i had the skills of some of the people on here, but the only way i learn is by getting my hands dirty and having a go at it and thank you for the comments,

  11. do you have any old coolant hoses that go from the engine to the heater matix inside the car? as there about the same size!
  12. yeah and i sent the rocket cover back for more welding but its should be done soon!
  13. i think its both, but it can cause a miss fire and smoke
  14. havent done a update for a bit, right i have got the engine nearly built now just waiting mainly on the con rods for it now, the rocker cover is having two -8an fitting welded to it and also been sanded down so its nice a smooth now ready for powered coating, also i just got a AEM wideband which is now fitted ready for the down pipe to have a bung welded,

  16. i found this on driftworks, to me this sounds like they knew the car very well to get it started! "Catherine Barrow i was at the pvs show and seen the two lads start the car up in front of my eyes and didnt think anything of it the lads are: driver is a smallish halfcast lad and had a cap on and the other lad was white with dark spicky hair, aged around 25-30ish.. and wer smartly dressed they didnt look out of place and they managed to connect the fuel and battery lines of the car without anyone seeing them and they just started the car up and drove off they knew how the car worked to had we
  17. there meant to have the cut outs for the valves at the back of the engine when there fitted, and they look like the -10cc dished pistons which are the low comp ones hope this helps
  18. by the sounds of it you will need the crank reground, best to take it to a machine shop, see what they say,
  19. before you do any thing you must be able to prove you were working when they docked your hours, as in time sheets or even better clock in card, also it might just be better to rite the money off and get on with your new job, i know its not easy but then at lease you got a job to go to,
