its about the same as forging a 4E may be a little more depending on the price you can get the rods for, and yeah your need the block, crank and the rods if you use std ones,

no you dont have to run a boost controller, you can run it off the wastegate spring, a this is I use to run mine, all you do is run one hose, from the turbo to the bottom of the wastegate, then pressure the turbo is enough it will force the spring to open at the spring rate, (depending on what spring you use,)

reboring the bores to take a bigger piston due to the bore being out of shape (oval), this is were you get the 74.5mm, 75mm, pistons sizes, regrind the crank as the journals can be worn, and feel rough which would kill a new set of bearing quickly, hope this helps

yeah i have built my 5e 2 times now and i did mess it up the first time, by cracking a piston ring with i refitted the piston back in the block. i would say find a good machine shop tho as they will help you no end, in bits like bearing sizes, if the block is true and not out off shape, as for £1000 to build one would be tight, but i wouldn't say its impossable, as i found most of my money went on machine shop labour,

does any one know the size of the bolt on the fuel rail, its the one on right hand side as you stand at the front of the car, with the fuel line to the filter, cheers

right not much to report this time, but i have got my side skirts on the car, along with the wheels and one of the harnesses, here the new skirts fitted and then with the new wheels

its been long time, since i done a update on the car, the tyre are waiting to be fitted now, but i been told they are waiting on some nitrogen to fill them with? right i been shopping too, and got hold of two 6 point harnesses, for the price of one! also i have removed the side skirts ready for the new jam ones, just a sneaky picture of the harnesses,and one of the drit behind the skirts
