It's almost exactly 1 year on since I bought my GT from a hippy-looking couple in Wales and I already have memories of scatting myself behind the wheel! The first on the drive home over Snake's Pass in wet whether and with almost bald tyres LOL. But after gathering a substantial number of parts together, I thought a build thread was in order Here she is sat on Quadcorecraig's EP-love drive after we'd just fetched her: (TRD HT leads came later that week) The only mods were; rear tints, momo steering wheel, A'PEXi boost gauge, non-standard jap-style rotted-to-fook exhaust, Wolfrace 10-tonne-heavy alloy wheels, a badly ripped Recaro SR3 seat with EP82 rail and HKS mushroom filter. The first job was to clear out the ash tray and get rid of the overwhelming Golden Virginia stench LOL: (Cheers Craig for this beautifully-smelling Jap bitch!) There was also some minor front-end damage where the car had rolled forward in the container while being imported. New quadlights were bought as the plastic brackets were broken and a new bumper bar as the original was mangled. I also found a jap parking ticket down the back of the seat: I only got one key with car and most of the locks didn't work so I bought a new set of locks and ignition barrel with three new keys from Toyota. I then had a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm fitted: New parts bought for her: Whiteline ARB GReddy FPR A'PEXi Power FC IHI VF34 with WEPR TDO4 externally-gated manifold and decat pipe Got a bit of work to do on the turbo kit; polish compressor housing, wire brush and spray mani which will be updated soon. Wastgate's on its way =) HKS bov SSR Stern tri-spoke alloys JAM bonnet bought off NightSpirit Cusco roll-cage soon to be fitted! Comments welcome, Sly

they're rev limiters.. set to a specific RPM and they cause the engine to cut out when that RMP is reached. Engine starts back up again straight afterwards. The dramatic drop in RMP does serious damage to your engine though mate!

I'm 22 dude and mines gunna have full livesports kit inc. fenders and with jam bonnet! If i had your motor i'd finish the kit off with TOM'S spoiler! N by 'standard bodykit' hope ya don't mean OEM sides n spats because they're no comparison to TOM'S. Nothing wrong with them alloys either man...

Hi guys n girls, I dont currently own a starlet but im hopin to get a GT soon for Japfest/Rising Sun in May. Ive got a Vtak turbo civic but feel toyotas the way forward..
