Mine was doing that when my head gasket went mate there any white oil in the filler cap??

Makita use lithium ion batteries they have a high mah so should last a while and u don't have to run them flat before u can charge them up again as they have no cell memory good choice man

It should be ok mate just drive carefully no hard acceleration and u should b ok

There's one on the engine on the left hand side and there two on the gearbox one at the back of the gearbox and one on the right of the gear box that fixes to the right leg of the chassis
