Loaded the Audi up this evening with 2 engines!! Think it may be over loaded slightly! Off to see Rob tomorrow morning and let him get started building me a new forged engine! Also a cheeky picture of something else I picked up recently!

Trying to help a friend out with his 98 Spec Glanza V. Car is standard apart from a HKS cat back system/dump valve and air filter. He has described that the car feels incredibly slow, he said you can feel it building boost pressure but it doesn't go anywhere. Had a little look last night and couldn't see any obvious, he has recently had the timing belt changed and the timing double checked. When i started it up last night and gave it a rev it sounded like something was rattling round in the cat? Could the cat be blocked and causing power loss issues? Cheers, Charlie

Ordered a ABS removal kit from Mike @ TD which turned up this evening! Managed to get it fitted this evening! Surprising how much the ABS pump and pipe work weighs!

Yeah could be the connections on the back of the starter motor. But my battery is dead and does what you explained above! So fingers crossed its just that buddy!

Yeah I removed EFI and primed until oil pressure light went off. So not sure how the knocking started but ah well! Just not got the best of luck!

Quick update! Got the engine back out again at the weekend And made a phone call to Rob Barnard who built Abbots engine and some engines for the legendary Dave Burwash! Should hopefully be dropping both engines that I have down next weekend for Rob to build me something Also made a few purchases so they should turn up next week also
