Trying to find my old starlet... Please help!
TurboTobz replied to Craig_T's topic in Lifestyle General
Have you tried ask mid to see if the cara stil registered to the roads I.e. not scrapped, and if it still has a insurance policy out on it? -
More than likely to be sold as just a set of alloy wheels probably to a local corsa or nova owner (mind you there not 17"+) but they may well pop up on a car in your area if they change colour it'll be something like rattle can black! Keep your eyes peeled!
-
There was a set on eBay similar colour I think they were listed before yours were stolen though. Just jogged my mind maybe worth a look I think they were listed before hand anyway
-
Saw this on a forum a while ago i think don't know if they solved the mystery

Damn they were nice wheels too, hope you get your own back

There's a pinned thread in technical section explaining the theoretically correct idea of hosing arrangements on these race spec rockers
-
No you'll get an entire kit, will be very accurate ad give figures, not just rich or lean. I use a plx dm6 wideband which maps everything out on a live chart, gives warnings led indicators and figure also peaks and mins. Also does a lot more and can be linked to up to 6 modules and display them on the one gauge, it's got a touch screen to toggle through data screens also.
-
If they go any cheaper drop me a pm. Cheers
-
Oh I got glanza 180s no good to you lol

Looks like this areas stocking back up on eps finally

I'd offer you my 98 spec but it needs a lot of fibreglass to loose the cut holes

Indiglo dials fitted but incorrect tach/revs now.

The needle looked as though it would have gone through the zero mate, I didn't want to kill the circuit so I moved it I've read of people removing them and sticking them on so that's what I ended up doing. There only very slightly out I know I could use a tacho gauge (but i dont have one)and set it via that, I could probably also adjust it manually and get it near spot on, I just wanna know if there's a more simple way of sorting it. P.s. have you seen my pm's on Facebook dude? Cheers -

Thanks mate! Loads more to come hopin for a ORC 309DS forged single plate clutch and flywheel (the noisy type), cusco 1.5way mz LSD (the noisy type again haha) some forged internals, a set of wheels maybe a cruise bonnet, and some nice handling mods. Got a LONG way to go, going to be a struggle seeing as my little'un due september the 16th! -

Cheers mate got a couple more bits to put on this week and hopefully I'll be buying a few more bits, all will be revealed when I make my mind lol! -
So I fitted my indiglos yesterday, I had to remove the needle stay on the rev gauge, I then had to put it on my new gauge facia only I had to position it slightly differently as I was worried it would be too close to the number '0' and didn't want to damage the lights. Obviously after removing the stay and needle I put my needle back on but I'm sure when it's reading 2k revs it's between 1-1.5k roughly I'd say it's between 200 and 500 out, will I be able to solve this issue seeing as the needle stay isnt in the exact same position as before? Also how can I accurately reset the needle? Any he

Banbury I used a polishing pad for a grinder it's like a layered surface of over lapping sand paper.
