Very Rare EP82 GT Buddy Club P&P ECU
TurboTobz replied to micky boy's topic in Starlet Parts For Sale
I don't think that's the case, otherwise people wouldn't be paying extreme amounts of cash for aftermarkets... Not seen this before, and definitely never seen it for a 4EFTE. -

The MAP sensor's aren't interchangeable the ecu needs to be programmed to understand the map sensor it's plugged into, put a random one on there and you'll melt your engine. -
is the diff completely silent?

Jay's Forged Build *small update*

I tried it once… Never again! -
No problemo!

Clean it and put a cover over it…. Wrapping is good, roofs not too bad but it's really easy to damage and you screw when you do.
-
You should be banned, you STILL haven't began the FWD conversion. Do not speak plz
-
Yeah it will, it'll detect traces of exhaust gases and turn the dye a different colour. Sounds like on boost it's pressurising the cooling system via a leak in the gasket.

They say with the contour of rear windows to cut the tinting film into a few sections -
Sounds like a gasket, get a test done on the coolant, can buy the kit yourself. Maybe worth trying another rad cap also.

They aren't able to calculate over the boost level they were programmed to, and if they were you'd still be limited by the stock map sensor… So they aren't going to produce anymore on a forged lump. The EMB is programmable unlike the p&p's... They are tried and tested, they've been used over and over. -
Doubt the tunnelling itself would be majorly hard, get on it mate, would be awesome

What would you be thinking of doing about chassis floorpan and bits?

I think the reason they can't be remapped is because the data is encrypted and no one has the software to decrypt it, I'm not entirely sure. I don't think you'll ever really see more than the 220-240 area off the plug and plays. If they were able to have any turbo bolted on and adjust they'd be used over the likes of EMB and things… It's not that simple. Ecu's calculate afr's hence why engines have lamdas and map sensors etc lol... -
Ah now I wasn't aware of this, that's pretty interesting what modifications are required or are they top secret? You could use an 86 LSD diff?
-
I want a 4efte aygo, remember the red one on tgtt years back from another country looked fairly standard with bonnet raisers? Looked feckin awesome, IF I could weld to a good level I'd be cutting the fuck out of cars to make something so stupid.

They slightly adjust, they don't really learn. It's not like an ecu that will suit everything you throw at it, it can make minor adjustments to suit mainly ct9 applications but p&p's have been used for slightly bigger turbos -
cut that fuckin glanza floorpan out and get the fuck on the RWD

They only slightly adjust, it's mythological that they 'self learn', not saying that your making out they are just clearing things up. -
