  1. Do you use any kind of sealant along with your head gasket? Hylomar etc?
  2. You're on a comedown so have put the price down by half to cover the cost of your next hit? What's your poison sir? Must be strong - these are around £30 brand NEW.
  3. Do you need an exceptionally good internet connection to do this?
  4. Personally speaking I wouldn't be happy mapping an unfinished project, so I'd only be looking to map it once I am fully happy with the spec I am running, and I'd be looking to run a standalone rather than a piggy back. I think the FCD route is a good option just to get you by until you reach a point when your happy with your car.
  5. Ouch I'd be looking more into why than just trying to plug the gap. Somethings not right if it's lasting < 3Hours
  6. What have you got to offer? All straight tyres in awesome condition, not set on swapping or selling just toying with possibilities at the present, if I like the offer I may be forced to do a deal. All 4 centre caps present all in same condition as pictured.
  7. It's not an ideal way of tuning, but it can work very well if set up well. Don't be fussed by people's remarks on here most of them slag things off and cut corners themselves lol

You'd only break it. And spank it round the neighbourhood making videos, but now's not the time for conversations like this. That looks absolutely mint, I bet your one happy mooofoooooooo! Enjoy!
  9. Right, White and yellow are the wires your unsure of? They tap a green wire IIRC. Can be tapped in at the ecu end to keep things tidy or tapped in the bay, it's up to you. There's a pin out diagram on google images, google HKS FCD second and third images should make things clearer. Keep the FCD@ position 0 until your FPR is set up properly I take it your getting this done on a dyno rather than yourself with a wideband kit?
  10. From what I remember theres 4 wires, 1 live, 1 earth, the other two sit on a wire from the MAP to ECU. There's loads of info about do a search on here, or definitely theres loads on TGTT forum. Start on 12 work your way back, it'll settle around 8/7 usually. But remember this needs to be set up with an RRFPR to compensate the fuelling otherwise you'll be running lean. Best done on a dyno or with a good quality wideband kit. You need to know exact air/fuel ratio's @WOT
  11. You'd have to do a search on here, I can't remember exactly, these do smell fuelly it's pretty normal, I miss it when I drive anything else lol
  12. Glanza or GT? It's real rare to find one that's not been royally thrashed by some twat... Depreciation is really not an issue what so ever as long as you keep it in good condition. Normal things, engine knocking, head gasket, bodywork, signs of accident damage, rust (they don't really suffer), gearbox (synchro's are common), clutch, rattles and bangs… Best to post car and spec up here we can tell you if we know it, and our opinions. £2k for a fairly stock car is pretty rare, but if your patient you'll find one.
  13. Have you been smoking crack cocaine or taking amphetamines recently?
  14. I'm sure he was on here, didn't really have much idea with starlets - or I maybe recalling the thread about the car I'm not totally sure. Your thinking of the 98 spec I think it was, it was on ebay in Norfolk, the lads dad was selling it because he thrashed it then moved abroad?
  15. You can't feel how your engines fuelling accurately enough lol, glanzas always stink of fuel! Little nut on actuator arm to adjust it
  16. Will do, seen a lot of glanzas in ashford over past 3-4 years now!
  17. Your asking for trouble turn that fuel cut defender off and put the boost down pre fuel cut, your going to be running it lean. Lean melts engines. Don't turn the FCD on until it's been set up properly with the RRFPR.
  18. Can get em from buddyclub for the real deal, it's well worth it costs around £50 but will looks so much better, and they're like a paint on sticker.
  19. 50 plus fees and delivery or inclusive of?
  20. White, 98 spec, sunroof... Your one lucky mofo, your from ashford? Will probably see me about in my white glanza I'm from near Dover
  21. It's cheaper to buy a 4efte, than to rebuild either of them. Tuning developments can build impressive set ups, and have been tried and tested over and over. They provide an excellent service as punctuality and quality are above and beyond, other than that you have Tim at tb Developements you can catch him over on toyotagtturbo forum a fair bit, he's very good from what I hear and has gone out of his way to source me a forged rod which I needed replacing. Or you can get local engine builders to do it.
