  1. Not entirely sure but that's just a hole so could possibly be water underneath as that's the underside of the car, but I could be completely wrong
  2. Wallace is under that grommet!
  3. Indeed mate, lovely example of a pre 2000 car! I'm just happy it hasn't had the front bumper 1/2 cut out lol, and it's barely been fettled with engine wise, which is something that's rare to find in a starlet these days! Thanks pal! They've really grown on me! Love em! Some real clean JDMness right thurrrr! I can't thank you enough pal, thanks for taking such good care of it and not ruining it, theres too many around that have been pissed about with and messed up. I was wrong with the air con removal causing the rad fan not to engage, that's something on GT's but it only makes them constantly run lol, more than likely the switch in the thermostat or a relay I have a spare thermostat housing and associated sensors luckily Keep checked up on here, there will be some improvements just unsure as to what yet lol! P.s. Did I add you on Facebook? Hopefully so! Cheers pal! Loving it!!!
  4. Drive it onto some wood, et voila! But as Daniel says avoid sills where possible, it does ruin them.
  5. Got a gizmo in my glanza I brought on the weekend, it will be available shortly

Fair play if you like em, don't let other sway your decisions I was just playing about, if you find anywhere online that sells cheap decent clothes/shoes share the link, shopping is painfully expensive

Hehe, back in the day footlocker were the only place you could buy them from in the uk
  8. The shifter itself is standard it's just been spaced out I think and makes selecting 2nd and 4th a nightmare, feels stiff I originally thought it was gearbox but having felt it a bit more I'm under the impression it's the spacers. But the shifters buggered I will bear that in mind!

www.bruvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv.com/sickbrah #back to the 00's Lol sorry, I doubt you'll have much luck on that kinda thing here lol
  10. Have a few bits to sort first, nothing major just removing some bits probably will end up with 98 spec front end ideally uncut, with splitter and fogs, and probably reflet red rear lights. To do: - Service - thermostat - investigate rad fan as doesn't come on - sort exhaust manifold blow - adjust clutch - remove DIY short shifter Once the above is done I'll be doing some tidying etc, then maybe some recaros from an Evo and ideally a greddy eo1 instead of the jizmo, not sure on the overall future of the engine, at the moment I'm not massively bothered with power I just want to keep it mint and carry on improving it rather than following the croud too much. Knowing me I'll get bored fast and be on the look out for a decent few upgrades but at the moment I'm I'm no rush!
  11. Just a quick one as I have to be up for work in 5 hours lol, got this on Saturday from an old forum member will put some more details and pics up soon, for now here's some pics... Rough spec: - Zisco Mild Steel tubular CT9 Manifold - Zisco Decat - HKS Turbo Timer - Gizzmo Electronic boost controller - 15" Advan RC wheels - Toyo Proxes - Toyosports Front mount intercooler - Shout route hot pipe - Japspeed 2.5" stainless system - Powerflow angled back box - Relocated Foam filter - Rocker breather filter - Auto gauges boost gauge - Optional extra front splitter - Optional extra wind deflectors - SRS airbag passenger side - Cj performance HT Leads - Iridium NGK spark plugs - CDA 9853 Alpine Slider/Touch headunit - Pioneer 6x9's - De locked and smoothed boot lid - De wipered and smoothed boot lid - Blanked BOV - Lowered - Grooved and drilled EBC discs - HEL Blue braided brake hoses - EBC Brake pads - Momo steering wheel and boss - Momo Gear knob - DIY short shifter - Bumper cut where numberplate would be - 98 spec clear indicators It did come with a load more things, mid duck spoiler, other filters, bailey dump valve (lol), japspeed back box and so on, I also have a load of things remaining from my other builds so the spec will be slightly changing, I will also be removing some bits I'm not particularly happy with steering wheel, diy short shifter, auto gauge, Jizzmo and bits But for the time being there is no insane rush! A big thanks to t-j-Wilson, was well worth the trip from south east Kent to Woking in Surrey!
  12. Power enterprise Kevlar belt there on eBay aus I think
  13. There's another on toyota owners ireland or what ever it is, pig666eon made it up I think, any questions pm me I've fitted some
  14. 150 area give or take if it gets better there's ring issues if not poss head gasket
  15. i just got one from woking i meant
  16. Drop a squirt of oil into each cylinder, it temporarily seals it then compression test it
  17. Will check this out thanks! Yeah the owner didn't really know some of the faults I picked out, so I'm going to iron them out, I can be picky!
  18. Have just got an 040 glanza lol
  19. That's real low, did you try a wet test
  20. Yeah I fucking hate these silly home made shifters, I paid less of course as potentially it needs a new box and clutch, but maybe not! And thanks, I'll get some up, I only have old pics from owner that do it no real justice, he was a forum user though and the aesthetics are mint!!! It's been well cared for just a few bits it wants for!!! And cheers!!
  21. I've just acquired myself another glanza, I had to barter a little as there seemed to be a gearbox issue, 1,3,5 engage perfectly and 2 and 4 are a struggle to get in, I'm thinking it could be caused by the DIY short shifter the owners basically spaced the shifter unit so it sits a lot higher, also the clutch biting points low this probably doesn't help matters. Basically is it worth me returning the shifter back to it's 'home' position? Never adjusted the clutch on these what's the correct procedure? cheers
  22. Fack was up in surrey earlier. Y U DO DIS
  23. I have used search, but recently any of my searches return nothing, I may not be doing it right I don't know. Anyhow, my glanza's rad fan's not kicking in at all, I can link it to battery and then it will work and cool the engine as per norm. Where's the best place to start looking? I recall a bypass when removing air con as it was removed by previous owner, but I've read that leaves the fan running constantly and only on GT's? Cheers!
  24. flush system, feel the incoming pipes in engine bay that go through bulkhead, are they hot?
