    They have certain positions one con rod has one position on the crank they aren't interchangeable, and they do have a direction to face etc yeah. Once the engine was built did you turn the engine over by hand from the bottom pulley to check the feeling of the engine?

    Did you definitely put it together right rods and caps paired and in right order and facing correct way? did you crank it by hand?

    Follow it through then, shift the turbo and get your self an FTE, otherwise you'll only kick yourself a few months down the line when the suns shining and the local VTS crew are putting down some serious wheelspins, you'll want to light all four wheels up and show them all up!

    It's hard to say, but just take the slack up and gently drive it until you feel some tension it's not really as important as internals to torque

    I wish buddy, my car is turbo… Diesel french megane crap, just looking for a starlet again (Number 3) THINK I have found one worthy of viewing this weekend but that is literally it everything else I've seen looks like it's been dragged through halfords backwards or raced around macdonalds endless amounts!
