  1. Are you looking to convert to 5efte? Will need 3E Flywheel and 4EFTE clutch as far as I'm aware or have the 5E one re drilled (a bit sketchy) 4EFTE oil filter housing, for the oil feeds if running turbo. 4EFTE Thermostat housing if going turbo. Will need a oil drain put into sump, not sure if 4EFTE sump is direct fit. If your looking to go further than just that, you'd need 4EFTE pistons forged or standard up to you... 5EFE conrods forged or standard, up to you again... 4EFTE Head may help you out, with the valve springs (Assuming they're as shite as the ones on the 4EFE (N/A)) 4EFTE R

  6. Av just gone from a 65-95mpg 30 tax band megane dci to another glanza the difference is not as bad as you may think, the diesels cost a fair crack when they do go wrong too! My meganes sat in a sorry state, hoping I can sort it mind you.
  7. The cooling is for after and doesn't do much during use, yet you say without one during use your going to produce excess heat and burn oil? For the lazy we have turbo timers, for the sensible we have warm down periods say 10 minutes from turn off driving slowly and giving the oil time to cool. Suppose it depends if you understand and respect your car or thrash it. I certainly look after mine I've never had any issues with turbos or burning oil, and the only times I've ran lines are on the standard ct9.

  9. Plus, seen them leak ones brought from a trader on here, td04's are pretty much a disposable turbo
  10. It's still putting excess heat through the cooling system, that for the price of a td04 is not worth it
  11. Cook a td04 pay 40-50 cook an engine (standard) 10x that! I've never ran waters even on my expensive and rare KKK K24, never had any problems, it just throws extra heat into the engine!

I've had wepr and got a zisco at the moment I had an umbraced 5 year old mild steel toyo manifold that had an ewg port bodged on, and a heavy old td05 on it and never had an easy life, just heat wrapped. I acquired it for nothing, it outlasted my ownership of the car, the other manifolds strangely hadn't! It's not always the case, and most people running toyo dont have it mapped run higher egt's that fucks em, but they aren't the best quality it's hit an miss I guess! Just saying it's not always the case!
  13. I've been tempted to make one and run it as a carputer interface with ECU connectivity and tethering to phone Internet there so cheap and tiny it's pretty amazing

  16. Sunroofs are rare as hens teeth, I had a k24 SARD glanza that had a tidy spec the sunroof was removed pop riveted and resprayed

  19. Back track is awesome in the right hands, free wifi lol. Rasperry pi's are also awesome, and very cheap for the capability and size
  20. 98 spec splitter, livesports/jams are common and look soo bad! Think the wheels would tie in if they were another colour like a deep grey/anthracite or bronzey goldy
  21. The sounds it was making could be predetonation but I'm just speculating, so as I say keep it off until it's been set up professionally.
