  4. They're just a generic solenoid, other boost controllers use the same thing, things like this are used for other applications within engineering, am sure you could source one that's not sold as a boost solenoid which would be cheaper, we use similar bits at work festo maybe a good place to start if your after something they may have something. Put electronic solenoid in ebay, you'll see the same ones used for other controllers.

  8. theres 2 locating pins on the comp housing side, the one I rotated needed one to be filed away and one was removed by popping it out with a pair of pliers and some force.
  9. Should be some bolts or similar around the inside edge, remove them and any clamps, then a large cir clip for the compressor housing, and the v band style strap in the middle, a little bit of even tapping with a hammer around the exhaust side and it should come away, be careful that you don't attack one side more than the other and jimmy it off otherwise you may damage the fins.

  17. If your worried about which ever one you get oxidising why not wrap it in denso tape?
  18. Yeah I'm sure under them are like the edges of the fuel tank sometimes you can see parts of the rear beam, just as you say to keep it water tight, I wouldn't worry too much
