  1. just a short bit of hose to replace the spare nipple you'll have on that tee piece once you single your vacuum lines down to separate sources/feeds obviously that short bit of hose needs to blank the open nipple left on the t piece which can be done with a bolt
  2. Supposing your in a garage a chainblock (block and tackle) maybe suffice once chained around your roof supports depending on the condition of them, it's always a bit of a 5p 50p moment, but never had one go yet and done some big heavy engines lol
  3. Straight bit of hose, or cut a small bit of hose off put it on the t piece nipple that needs blanking and plug it with a bolt if you have no hosing spare
  4. I'd say so, dedicate it it's own line it's tidier and keeps things simple. Your bays full of carbon judging by them pics weld/replace manifold and gaskets that should help out a lot...
  5. Practically speaking, no.
  6. Grant if you look closely it looks to me as if that pipe actually runs to the dump valve? looks like it's under the slam panel Actuator should be and probably is (if my assumption is correct) taken from the side of the turbo
  7. yea, just iron out the faults and tidy it up.
  8. Remember to plug any left over nipples, or anything else you'll get vac leaks
  9. Right, first off I'd remove the hi/lo boost solenoid, it can be unplugged and taken off no issues this will also remove a restriction. I'm guessing the A/C has been removed, if so you can remove the vac hosing to the right of the intake manifold, and un plug and discard the sensors. Dedicate one of the spare nipples to the boost gauge, then plug the hole left in the T piece or remove it and link the pipes up or replace the pipe, or remove that dump valve (That could be giving you some issues). Is there a boost controller? How to remove the boost solenoid (restricts 1'st and 2'nd) http://
  10. Good result, would be interested in how it feels with that sort of power in a modified auto.

  15. I wasn't actually aware of this pin difference could you explain it a little I'm guessing it's the gudgeon pin? May help prevent others from making mistakes. Ah and Pauters don't require block machining
  16. They fit lovely on Pauters, and they are possibly the best off the shelf combo. I can confirm they fit as I had a set.

  22. Don't really see the golf range as luxury. Some of the audis are a little. Any engine can produce good gains, but it at what cost reliability/effort/financial.
  23. Nice bay, purple rocker would look Nice with some anodised purple around the bay or anthracite (dark greyey) rocker
