  1. Cheers Micky, means a lot! Sure you will see it at some car shows this summer.
  2. The needle isn't calibrated... at all! I'll get on to it when I'm next working on the car! Cheers guys!
  3. Thanks for the compliments guys! The waste gate has no vacuums because I don't yet have a boost controller fitted, I should have one arriving soon though. It's the final part needed to have the car ready to drive, apart from the bodywork.
  4. The Toms bumper is for a Mark 1, you can tell by looking at the foglight holes. It still looks better though but as above, only if you have the rest of the kit.
  5. They're a great addition, get some bought! Some pictures progress. AEM wideband kit arrived My mate fitted the gauges while I fettled with the bodywork. He also got the indiglo dials fitted. Excuse the horribly messy interior. I've decided to fit the bodykit and start driving the car to get some miles on the engine. I'll paint the parts whenever I get time for each one. I don't have enough time to paint it all yet so it's just delaying the project further! A little tester/teaser The bonnets bolted on now, I need to get some aero catches ordered for it. Next to go on
  6. That looks horrible, the whole black theme is dated for these cars imo. If it was all green it may have looked okay.
  7. What year is your car? The grills are available for the Quadlight model, prices are on our website www.id-workz.co.uk
  8. Ditto, they won't hold their value. I'd much rather spend the money on an Audi S3. They are awesome cars though! My old Uni mate had a brand spanker in green at the start of 2010. His dad had an injury at work and got paid out £750k so it was a 'treat' for him!
  9. How did I miss this?! Amazing build!
  10. Ditto, plans do sound good and the spoiler would finish the rear off perfectly.
  11. They are fully adjustable, and they come in a white gel coat. The black one has been painted by a customer.
  12. Sorry for the late response I've just seen this. Yeah, I've sorted something out. I can't have boxes made big enough but I've used foam pipe lagging around the sides for protection. The first one is going out to a customer this Tuesday, if it arrives undamaged then the other FRP ones will be sent this week also.
  13. Cheers folks! Some more new bits TM-D Indiglo Dials Black Race gauges - Boost, Oil temp, Water temp. I thought I ordered Prosport gauges (from Spec-R) but these turned up. They are identical to the Prosport peak series oil pressure gauge I have so I may just keep them instead of getting a refunding and sourcing Prosports elsewhere.

  15. Finally, some progress on the Honda. The engine was smoking quite badly due to suspected piston rings, just what I was told by the previous owner but I never carried out a compression test to confirm - it could have been the stem seals. After weeks of searching, I got my hands on a low mileage B16A2 (65k) so we set about fitting that this weekend. Looking sorry for herself, months of dust gathered. This is how the engine looked for a while as I removed and sold the cylinder head a while ago. An engine crane made things a lot easier for us. New engine.. We inspected the clutch and
  16. Indeed, they are awesome cars. Sold mine last week though, replaced with an Audi A3 as the insurance was costing too much!
  17. I'm almost certain that people use a 38>51mm pipe to relocate the air filter. It is a very tight fit though, the size was 42mm when I measured it with a ruler a few years ago.
  18. That's awesome! A bargain too if it's a minor problem!
  19. The ECUs do not adjust the boost level, you will need to turn the boost up with an actuator or boost controller, and the ECU will then fuel it.
