Hey I've just ordered a set of piston rings from Toyota but didn't have my Glanza chassis number so I gave them my old SR's registration instead. Are the piston rings exactly the same? If not, can someone please give me the part numbers for the piston rings. Cheers

I had it notched too mate Bad news, car needs a full respray due to some silicone dropping in to the lacquer. God knows how as I cleaned the car properly, and I thought it was a good clean booth I sprayed in. I thought I may get away with flatting the lacquer and buffing it out but it's not looking likely so I need to start prepping the car for another respray. Gutted.

Today I finally got my engine and internals back from having the machine work carried out. This was done by Drakes Engineering in Bradford and it looks like they've done a top job on it. What I had done: Block honed, skimmed and notched Pistons, rods, crank, flywheel, clutch and crank pulley balanced Block and cylinder head chemically cleaned Block lightly skimmed and notched for Scat rods Bores honed Fully balanced crank, flywheel, clutch and crank pulley Scat forged con-rods Wossner 74mm dished forged pistons AE bearings

Hey guys, I need a new gudgeon pin for my Wiseco pistons, does anyone know where to buy them from without waiting months? Do Toyota sell them, and if so will the OEM ones suit Wiseco pistons? Cheers, Idrees

Cheers guys, the kind words mean a lot and keep the motivation going. Next: Full machine buff/polish Paint and fit Varis style front bumper Collect engine from machine shop and get the engine build started! All the window and door seals have been refitted, and some have been replaced. More pictures and details over the weekend.
