Check that the hazard switch is actually plugged in too if you've removed the centre console.

The top one where the bonnet bonnet sits is known as the slam panel, the bottom one is the chassis cross member.

There's only one single wire running to the knock sensor. Check that's not damaged before replacing the sensor.
