Photo not uploaded but it's the two that stick out the back of the engine bay after air con been removed.

Does anyone know or can measure the thread sizes for these two ac pipes. I'm looking for a threaded blanker to cap off the end as air con been removed but car is stored elsewhere so i can't measure them and want to order of ebay this morning.

😩 tried sugarcube tonight aswell as new oil and still crunching safe to say synchros on their way out! Never mind rebuild when engine out for forging next year if gearbox survives that long!

I've owned 3 starlets and 4 gearboxes and every single one has had a 2nd gear crunch. Is it just me or does everyone's starlets crunch in 2nd?

Would that issue not cause all gears to not engage properly and not just 1st to 2nd?

Yer pretty close mate. Thanks again for the quick response. This box still crunching going into 2nd same as the last box. I assumed it was the box that was causing the crunching could it possibly anything else? It feel crunchy higher up like just below the stick? Any ideas?

Had a mechanic friend fit my LSD box but he's just rang me with a problem. He's saying When you attach the cables to the box its dragging the gear stick over to one side so you cant select any gears. Anyone any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks in advance Ashley

Long live the forum... use & look at it every single day! Yes Facebook is easier for sales but how do you know who you are truly buying off? At least with the forum you can look at people's previous content etc to see if they are legit and trust worthy. Also the technical stuff is priceless, it annoys me when I see people asking technical questions on Facebook pages when they could of just looked at one of the 100s of 1000s of guides and how to's on the forum. People have put hours of there own time to put these guides together so why not use them and be grateful. Agreed. I'd be very interested in the lsd box but it's priced far too high. I suppose other people might be willing to pay more for one than me. Good luck with the sales though mate some nice parts up for grabs! 👍

I'd say about 190-200bhp mate but tbh not had it rr. What set up are you running? Would of been nice to have an 82 vs 91 showdown running similar power aswell! I didnt mess around with tyre pressures as we had no pump with us or pressure gauge had a boot full of tools and a jack though so that must of slowed me down abit 😂 Was paranoid about not making it home haha

Yer 14.3 was my best of the day. To be fair I didn't get a perfect start all day i was running 15 psi on a ct9 hybrid but wheels were spinning to much on the start (poor/nervous driving I think). My old GT had a LSD and I found it helps so much with traction you don't realise until you've not got one how important they are. It's great fun though isn't it 😂 It's great fun though isn't it.. 😂
