The point is Idrees is i never said it was HPI Clear, due to the fact i never checked myself! Its a solid, relatively clean shell that only required minor paintwork. £400 is less than going rate for a shell, especially a 99Reg, and the fact it had wind deflectors, ABS Removal kit,RSR Springs, New rear brake/lines/pads/caliper setup, a pretty much full interior, and the rest of the gear instead of selling i left in the boot for you also. The damage on the latch was from the 5E Engine i had in there, (Ie lifting it in) the floor is flat looking from above and below, and there is a straight line if you look side onto the car showing it hasnt been pushed in before/rammed up the arse. It would be immediately apparent if it had had a whack as it would be all twisted. Yes it was painted with a brush, as was all the arches, underside, crash bar, front inner wings etc to keep rust at bay and the interior i carried on with as its covered by the interior!! If it was a complete car worth a lot of money fair enough i would also be a bit pissed, same as im a bit dissapointed it was at some point a CAT C, but the fact its not really damaged, has a fair chunk of value in it, and i had no idea also. I apologize for the fact it is a CAT C and im a bit gutted tbh.

Just to clarify this, not once did i say it was HPI Clear, i bought it from micky due to the knowledge and honesty i always recieved from him, i removed the bumpers to check for damage which there wasnt any, And never HPI checked the car myself due to how clean it was! photos in the build thread of the car completely stripped and painted with once again no damage (Proof is still there), and as far as i was aware it was never crashed before i got it, or in my possesion. As i said it was possibly CAT C due to paint damage and the fact they value them on UK Starlet prices not a £4000 glanza for example, so a £600 uk starlet that has been keyed will be written off due to the cost. Car hasnt been crashed, has no chassis damage, hence why i bought the car. If i knew it was CAT C i would have stated, and i think most importantly i wouldnt plow over £10,000 worth of mods into a crashed car which im sure everyone will understand! You come across very arrogant IMO idrees and i have always used you as a trader, had a decent level of service from you and had no problem with you. Not once have i been rude, sworn at you or anything else as i was genuiney unaware it was a write off. The shell was very cheap, still had a lot of value worth of parts on which you cant argue with, you wont lose money either. Yes its a bit shit that its been categorized but shit happens, im a bit gutted as well to be honest.

YO21 Matey, and ahhh thats how far my detailing skill goes lol!

I plan on trying to make it a bit better actually mate, I Only used T-Cut as i didnt think anything else would remove the pink and horrible white parts, There is still alot of swirl marks off the T-Cut That i need to remove, But it looks a lot better than it did! Would you say a bit more cutting polish, wax then a good sealant? And just out of middlesborough mate, Near Guisborough I would definetely like someone to polish it properly for me mind! Hahaha, As Jim said bluebear it was a genuine TRD Or facelift bumper yes, however it had about 15kg of fibreglass, other gunk, and a cheap nasty splitter bonded to it, and it was all cracked on one corner off a kerb. Shame really, it will probably get a TRD Or facelift bumper with a lip on shortly, i only got the current one as it was 60quid delivered with fogs so couldnt knock it!

T-Cut on a machine, followed by hand, washed, dried then just a quick once over with super resin polish mate

As most of you know the glanza has gone now so in the meantime i had to buy something to get me about, Cue the impulse buy of the celica 190! Here are the first photos, It was in a shit state when i picked it up however has definetely had a lot of mechanical work and maintenance done, however the mods were definetely not up to scratch lol.... The paintwork was very shoddy and pink, Front bumper was a facelift but with a horrendous splitter attached which was smashed, all removeable interior plastics had been removed and painted red And a few other choice mod lol! It took hours of machine polishing and cutting back of the paint but its pretty nice now, few little bits that need painting but its solid It does have some sort of exhaust system, stainless but they have kept the huge cat in which has to go. First mods we re maintenance, give it a service, track rods ends and drop links. I also fitted some PI Springs to bring the shocking ride height down too. New wheels were desperately needed (See below) So picked up some OZ Superleggeras and Vredstein Ultra Sessenta tyres Fitted a japspeed CAI Also and removed yet more red paint from the engine bay! Heres some photos anyway The day i picked it up Lol at the bumper, paintwork and awful wheels hahahaha Paintwork before polishing And after Polish, brake tidy up and a bit of underseal Interior which needs the speaker pods and tweeters painting, bar that its lovely and comfy and it has indiglo dials Engine bay And a sneaky photo of the S2K Turbo to be project on the drive Pretty happy with it at the moment, the engine is absolutely fantastic and its hoot to drive, Feel like it handles a lot better than the glanza did which is surprising, and its hellish quick down country roads and is very composed. Gearbox is lovely also. Not as quick obviously but it goes well, and is a proper Hoon machine and loves to be abused. This will do me for now, unless i end up keeping this and turboing it with a Yank turbo kit... Or i sell up once i decide what im doing and see what else is out there to buy... Mani and wastegate gone, Turbo still here. Fantastic alternative over an old school TD05 Etc, Spool on a stock VF35 is very impressive so a lot lighter billet 11 blade wheel designed for spool, As well as a ported hotside should be immense!

I know mate :/ Way i see it atm though is if i get it to where i want it (ie realistically another 1500quid or so) Big power, horrid diff, big tyres, probably uninsurable, end up banned etc lol the list goes on. Also main part is i no longer have a garage, Space to play with it and more importantly time. I havent been home in 4 weeks nevermind touch this :/
