Damn right, and because poly mounts you have to press in etc which i couldnt be arsed playing about with, and i dont see much difference beetween TRD mounts and stock really! thought i would make a proper job of them while i was there. And nothing mate, just keep pressing it in until it was solid, wet your finger and it stops it sticking and makes it smooth (Few photos in my thread)

I did it... On my new build with TRD Mounts, used the high grade black marine sikaflex. Mounts are pretty solid, does vibrate etc but not mega! Nice upgrade fo sure

Front break disks wont come off what am i doing wrong?
The Toffinator replied to nevertomorrow's topic in Braking
Not right at all lol bar the corrosion part Put that centre nut back on that is for holding your driveshaft in! This has to be very tight also use a big breaker bar. Once the caliper etc is removed, the disc will come off theres nothing else holding it on give it a crack with a hammer and it will fall off, they just corrode on. -
Same symptoms then mate, runs lumpy, trys to stall (Does stall at times) Drains rad, etc etc
-
Unless you did exactly what i did on my fresh build, and have the TB water pipes the wrong way round. Check that first

I have a simliar problem, no tappin before it was removed, back in the correct order etc as well so why are the clearances loose now?
-
Ahhhh so i would possibly have to swap the final drive gear over if there the wrong ratio? I get you now!
-
Did you fit it yourself raffa? And what lsd is it? guessing its N/A 6 Bolt type? Thanks phil good info to have Yeh definetely need to swap bellhousings but no big drama. And i might PM him
-
Could be a bit of a gamble because who knows what bolt pattern they are lol! And what do you mean? No idea on gearboxes never had a play, is it just like fitting a normal diff? And that should be okay, dont understand why unless its the lentgh of the cable difference, as the shifter isnt slotted if you know what i mean

Thanks chris, and painting wise i was just using rough scotchbrite to key it, then neat Hammerite smooth using 2 coats. Awesome paint! They didnt touch the fuelling, i set it up by feel and eye and they just confirmed it was okay, if i had a SAFC Or similiar i could have done, mabye reached 300ish stock ecu but who knows 13s arent mega lean though are they? Its for a split second and there was no det, so should be okay for now im hoping. Fuel pressure is about 3.5. 3.6 Bar i think. Suppose i could try using a SAFC but thats yet more things spliced into my loom lol Thanks matt. And i know i -

Yeh i understand that, keeps temps at bay and i suppose why it richens up the higher the boost level And yeh ideally he did say it could do with being a bit richer as its coming on boost, but said it wasnt a problem really. I was considering a SAFC, But arent they a bit poor with tuning on these ecus? Or is it okay to use as a tool to remove fuelling not add it? cant remember what i have read now! Ideally looking at the AFR graph it could do with a bit more fuelling lower down, then less up top, or a bit more boost up top to bring the fuelling in line. Ideally management wise rob i wan -
Looking for a pair of front hubs for my glanza, need to be in decent nick and ideally with good bearings! Thanks
-
How would i go about making one of these? I have a 1.6 G6R 6 Speed box i can get hold of, i know these dont fit straight on, However can you just swap the bellhousings over? And if thats possible, when the box is split could i use a N/A LSD Or do i need a glanza/gt fitment diff? And also, are cables and the shifter unit itself needed? Thanks!

Ahhhh true yes, thats where he thought it may detonate but it never. Main reason the timings pulled back to keep detonation at bay i think! Saying that though the AVCR Can set boost up higher at the top end than low down so may do that yet. -

Thanks John appreciated Thanks mate, and £50. Tested for detonation and everything else also so bonus really, even used a timing light etc and just charged me for the power run. Decent blokes Cheers Liam! Thanks mick. Other graphs are uploaded there so can see the AFR Graphs and the wheel horsepower figure. What are peoples opinions on when i have finished running it in, since i cant change the fuelling anymore as it is, to running 1.3 bar or so? To lean it out slightly on the top end? He said i could do 270-280 if i did this and should fuel nice also, What do people t -
As long as the fuelling is okay i would drive it hard straight away. Bollocks to this pussyfooting about lol
