  1. Bit of an update Car has done about 550Miles, 6 Oil & Filter changes after a HARD Break in and touch wood seems amazing. Had a bit of a problem though as my actuator setup (See above) Was a nightmare and wouldnt let me run less than 1bar. So against my own will i bought a HKS FCD & RRPFR. Fitted it on tuesday and self set it up on the road best i could. Played with the timing, fuelling and the FCD settings. Got it to what felt perfect by feel, and took a trip down to EvoTune in Durham this afternoon. Whacked it on the dyno, did 3 runs and the average was 246Hp at the flywheel, 209
  2. There is a few of us about but me and dan who has a gt are a bit out in the sticks so very rarely seen round middlesborough really
  3. Ahhh i see morgey:/ Not ideal to repair then! And brendon if yours has touched chassis leg then i would reshell it. Otherwise i would just buy the parts required. someone may have a full corner they can sell you
  4. As liam said check his, amjads and my N/A Builds we all ran PI springs! Best springs by far
  5. I would repair it mate! How come it needs new piston rings mate??
  6. Feel for both of you proper sickening feeling! However though the chassis is a very strong piece, pressed steel wishbones, piddly struts etc etc a take damage and can affect how it drives. If i were you i would replace arms, struts, arbs, etc etc anything suspension then see as it does take a fair whack to bend chassis componentd. Especially on the trueno morgey!
  7. So am i right in thinking this is like a piggyback, but also like a plug and play lol but with adjustments and you need to use a FCD? What About a RRFPR Surely this will add yet more adjustment? Is it along the lines of a SAFC 2 Then or different again?
  8. No need for a map sensor dude Avcr comes with the unit, loom, and the map sensor itself The guide on here is useful and i fitted mine using it
  9. Bought an item of him last monday and had it sorted and at my door by the wednesday Top seller
  10. If it only does it after you have washed it is water getting into the ignition system mate thats it!
  11. In all respect mate its pointless fitting HIDs anyway to these cars, the light pattern is all over the shop, you will be pulled, and also look like a prat... Fit some decent 100watt bulbs and be done with it. Even HID Look ones are decent. Police have cracked down anyway on HIDs and you could be arseraped if they find them on your car!
  12. As above do not do it yourself will probably go wrong! My machine shop did mine when they balanced the crank and clutch and they took a hefty amount of material off, they do loads of them and they have never failed before
  13. 3sge fit. They do a 320cc one and 370cc. I have both but using the 370cc on my 5e. 320cc would be nice for td04 ithink
  14. A bar will be fine after the first oil change, if somethings going to go wrong it will do it regardless of boost. Drive it 70 80 % of what you would normally do!
  15. Mikey may be right i had this before at a scrappys when i went to get a caliper, it was tiny and a completely different shape to usual gt/glanza/ na calipers. Woukd never bolt onto a normal setup!
  16. Any links to the SARD units then? But as above there a very basic unit, if it was a cheap replica of something else then i wouldnt bother, but they arent a replica of anything so surely shouldnt make a difference if it works?
  17. Some good info here thanks lads, so the provided adapters in the photo will get me away? If not where do i buy the correct adapter? Thanks
  18. Thanks bud, do they come with what you need or was it a faff about job to find parts? Thanks
  19. Anybody on here tried these cheap kits? Can get one off a friend for even cheaper and just wondered if there worth it? or are they a twat to fit? Thanks http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Red-Adjustable-Fuel-Pressure-Regulator-kit-Toyota-Starlet-GT-Glanza-Charade-/400591244449?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d45194ca1
  20. Straight pass after Like a total of not even £300 is awesome And white spirit and a credit card i told thee, nab a hairdryer too
  21. Thanks again, and yeh its an awesome feeling knowing i have done it! You need to have a go in it mick feels like another level. Effortless pace! Another mini update also, the 3SGE Pink Injectors (315cc) Were making the car lean out on boost and hard throttle, so they got swapped in favour of the 3SGE Greens i had which are 370cc. Glad i did as the AFRs Are awesome now and the car feels better for it, 14.8 Average off boost, builds up gradually on boost then full boost is low to mid 11s So ideal really! TT
  22. As above you dont use it, i used the release bearing with the flatish lugs on but doubt it makes any difference! Awesome clutch
  23. Engine looks clean mate, stock headgasket is composite AFAIK The only one that is MLS is the 0.6mm Paseo one
  24. Thanks dude! Thanks muchly john Thanks matey im happy its back was getting desperate for it back hahaha. And nope didnt need lenghtening, just a bit of a pain to plug the injectors in but well worth it Thanks and i will, its beaut! Thanks mick, and i havent mate i was going to but it worked out about 8.8.1 Thereabouts. Night and day difference over a standard engine mick its unbelievable! You need too see it jim its a bit mental really even at this boost level Got 2 Oil changes through it now, One at 15 or so miles and the other today at jus
