  1. Small update here.... Seriously thinking of breaking this and plodding about in my new daily (celica VVTLI 190) and freeing up some money for the time being. Me and my dads S2000 is crying for a turbo kit and we are sharing that so thats my boost fix. I know you all say i will be back and your probably right but i fancy a change. Possibly even an MWR Turbo kit on the celica to tide me over until i get my grandads skyline later on this year.... Anyone want some bits?
  2. Yeh gainzy i have some videos on youtube of the glanza doing sprints last year! Awesome little track! It will be doing a lot more of them this year thats for sure. And thanks hookie and it is but its coming back better than ever
  3. Thanks ramses, i will see what its like when i get my engine back. Mabye putting cams etc in this time round and do the whole hog. Update as well still waiting on a response from alamo/weisco with regards to my piston to wall clearances and photos provided but in other news... Shits just got real! Bought myself a Celica T-Sport 190 as a daily and my dad is interested in pooling money with me to build a Track monster!

  6. Quick little update, Alamo have the photos and piston to wall clearances and other info to try find the problems with my pistons but waiting for a reply. In the meantime i bought this Should do me well for a map from my local tuner, Going to order the latest OLED hand controller too while im on and splice my AVCR into it too display boost on it, And buy a 3 bar map sensor or similiar. Thanks!

  9. Quick google session shows people have used the avcr sensor as its the same thing, only part im confused on is the sensor it will pick up fuelling from which i think is the standard one. And thanks socks
  10. Awaiting delivery of my Apexi power fc while my cars off the road and will be fitting it and yet again tidying my loom out to make sure everything is A1. My question is regarding the map sensor, i know the starlet ones only do 1.2 Bar so need uprating to read more. However as i have an AVCR im wondering if the Power FC will use this for boost display/monitoring and also for adjusting fuelling? Obviously my AVCR is spliced into the factory loom at the moment. im aware the AVCR reads of its own map sensor as displays whatever upto 2 bar (i know due to boost spike of over 2bar on the old engine l

  13. Just reread your message ramses, you had the 6+6 wheel? i have the 11 as bruce advised its better for spool, the housing also had to be machined as its 4mm bigger. however a lot lighter so cant wait to see it. When did you have full boost etc?
  14. Do you know wherw you can get rings for these jord have you ever looked? And if you could confirm the size that would be good as i need 74.5mm!
  15. Thanks guys, And just awaiting photos from park engineering and Alamo are aware of my problem but want details. they have no other failures as of yet. Remember my pistons were alamo custom spec flat tops. im unsure wether standard spec lime yours darren have these holes. Engine never really had piston slap to be honest, Was ring gapped to fast road spec. And im hoping this turbo works well, In theory it should be awesome on a 5E!
  16. FFS phone quote fail! Lol thanks lads. Bit of an update, Machine shop have it stripped and have found the fault... Every one of the pistons had failed on the lower skirt, where there are holes drilled i believe for oil, the main one has properly failed and bit are in the sump, the rest are all fractured in the same place. Pointing my finger at weisco! Any of the other weiscos have these relief holes? On a good note though the rest of it is mint and completely unworn so bonus really !
