  6. For anyone who has been trying to contact me recently I have been very, very sick and spent a long time in hospital. I am now recovering but can not work again until the New Year. I got a burst appendix and I continued on for deveral days completely unknown to me as to why I was so sick. By the time I finally went to hospital I was in massive pain, the appendix was now infected and the infection was well advanced and had spread to other parts of my body. I was in hospital for over 2 weeks. I basically poisoned my whole body and the doctors said I was very lucky to even pull through. It happened right in the middle of my busy time with the Christmas stuff too which was a total disaster. That's why I haven't been online whatsoever. I will begin to update my ads and reply to messages and parts queries again over the holiday period, but it will take time as I am still far from recovered. Going forward, I will be taking a long, hard look at the future of the cars and parts. I put every last minute of my time running the business and at times it gets very stressful. It is a lot for one person to run on their own and more often than not is too much. Therefore, I am having a major clearout of parts and will be having a massive sale of parts and cars in January. I will then decide what direction I will be taking. At the end of the day, the old saying is true, "Your Health Is Your Wealth" and finally I am starting to listen that life isn't all about being a workaholic! For now, Merry Christmas to all my friends and loyal customers. Enjoy the holidays! Browner

  13. @ daniel_g - yeah I know Paddy and Regina well. They run JDM Auction Watch they are good friends of mine. It wasn't them selling the above car they act as an agent for people looking to import a car from Japan. They bid on a customers behalf on cars available on the Jap auction sites. I asked him about ep71's and they said a clean one never comes through the auctions any more. I also asked Jer Colbert who is a highly regarded expert on boxy Starlets here in Ireland and he said the same. Of the very, very few that are still going through the auctions... A lot are now suffering with rust issues and have lost their originality with regards missing parts and not being to OEM spec. My car is totally original with only 48,000 miles which is crazy low. I looked for 3 years for my 3 door late spec ep71 and looked at 3 in that time. when I finally found a good one I gave 6k euros for it and it still needed money spent on it. Back a few years ago ae86 corollas were often sold for just over a thousand pound and now look! 8-10k is what an average enough ae86 is making here and a mint one is making 15-20k!
  14. 5e Colin I wouldn't even let someone in to the shed to view it for that money lol! As said above the last one I seen for sale in the UK went for 4k but it was hanging together with loads of bits missing and broken on it and a big dirty fucktard of a front mount intercooler molested into the front bumper lol I remember the car well. The guys interested in it have seen my car at Irish shows and know its a right good car and well minded. Offers have been made over the 6k sterling mark which made me think about selling... These are a collectors item now and with the economy improving and more money around... Coupled with the huge rejuvenated interest in the whole Starlet scene... Surely a car like this can only rise in value even more. Toyota aren't making any more of them that's how I look at it
  15. Guys I have had serious interest in my 5 door ep71 from two serious buyers in the UK but I would like a few opinions. What is the car worth over there? I'm finding it hard to price it as they are so rare I can't find any others advertised to get a rough guide price from. Also mine is, to the best if my knowledge, the ONLY 5 door ep71 in Ireland or the UK and perhaps maybe even further afield. It's also a very genuine car with silly low mileage and is totally original condition, never messed with. What do yous think it's worth? Definitely a one off car here! Details are as follows... It's a genuine 1987 Toyota Starlet Turbo S EP71. It is an extremely rare 5 door model, to the best of my knowledge the only one of it's kind in Ireland and the UK. It really can only be described as a very, very rare collectors item. It is not long in from Japan. It is very, very original throughout and is in excellent condition. It still has the original standard exhaust, original leather steering wheel, original wind deflectors and flare etc. I couldn't believe it but it even had the original floor mats and factory seat covers from way back in 1987! When I lifted the boot carpet to look at the boot well the spare wheel still carried the original paper tag! There are only 77, 484 genuine kilometres on it. There is a service sticker from Japan inside the door which reads 76, 900 kilometres so the car has covered very few miles since it was imported. The car came with all it's original owners manuals etc... The car started first turn of the key and drove like a dream. It was very smoothe on the road with no knocks or bangs or funny squeaks etc. It still has the original TEMS adjustable suspension from factory. The interior was in totally mint condition not even the smallest of marks and under the bonnet was very original with all heat sheds etc present. The bodywork is very honest. It was never painted and carries all it's original stickers and decals from factory... Even the original speed warning jingle still works which plays a merry tune when you go over 100km/h. I must say I had some laugh the first time I heard it... I couldn't figure out what it was lol! Everything in the car worked perfectly and it was a real joy to drive and was very responsive and nippy. The car came in from Japan with 14" Jap alloys with brand new Kumho tyres which finished it off nicely. I must give it a proper clean and polish and clean the engine bay. Anyway I will let the pics do the talking for now... Original twin pipe exhaust... Original boot decals from factory... Original door stickers... These are reflective and look very cool in the lights at night when they glow in the dark! Original factory yellow tint headlights and foglights all working perfectly... Very low genuine mileage... Note these clocks are in kilometres! Inside the driver's door is a Japanese service sticker. The car has covered hardly any miles since then as you can see. Original TEMS electronic adjustable suspension... The complete original floor mat set front and back! The interior was very impressive... The seats were spotless... Maybe due to these original seat covers from factory. These are ridiculously rare, especially to have a full set for front and back seats! The boot carpet is very good... The original spare wheel still with its original tag from factory...! The engine bay needs a good clean but is all there... The Jap alloys it was imported with, still with brand new Kumho tyres... The car still has its original handbooks... Regards, Conor.
  16. Copying and pasting my ads you lazy fucker lol
  17. I have one here mate PM me
  18. Guys, I have specialised in selling Starlet parts for over 7 years now. In that time the market has changed a lot but I think the current prices are correct for several reasons. Here in Ireland where I am based, the parts always made big money over here and were hard to find. Then the recession hit, people had less money to spend on cars and a lot of people were truely broke. Consequently, a lot of the lesser or rough cars were taken off the road and broken for parts during the recession. People were stuck for money and sold rare and high spec parts very cheap, just to keep the wolves from the door! Full cars could be bought for little or nothing for breaking. Then things slowly began to turn around. With so many of these rougher Starlets now off the road, a good one was getting hard to find and was worth good money if clean. Starting with the AE86 twincams, prices of cars here steadily started to rise. The price of a good ae86 has gone up 30-40% here in the last two years. Slowly all other clean Jap cars began to follow suit, including our beloved Starlets. A car which could have been bought for breaking for a few hundred quid 2 years ago is now suddenly worth a few thousand. It's basic economics that if the cost of the cars for breaking goes up, the price of the parts must go up in line with that... Or else we lose money. The cars cost us a lot more to buy now yet people still want recession prices??? Parts are now rarer than ever to find and consequently are making big money. I have handed over crazy money for parts in the past just because I really wanted them and knew that if I didnt buy them fast, someone else would! It's supply and demand at the end of the day. The parts are now so rare and sought after that guys are happy to pay big prices and often out bid each other for rare parts. With the economic situation now improving, expect to see people offering more and more for rare parts. At the end of the day we all want the best quality parts we can for our cars and are willing to spend to achieve that
  19. Whatever about the sequential shifter..Are Zisco the only guys who manufacture a dog box?
  20. Yeah it looks the job
  21. Looks the shit mate did you paint the steel backs of the Recaros?
  22. Is this for 4e or 5e?
  23. Idrees I had the stage 4 6 Puk CC in my Glanza and it started slipping at 383bhp and 350 ft/lbs. I wasn't happy with the clutch at all. What is the stage 5 rated to? I want an unsprung clutch
  24. Lads was looking at these clutches for one of my projects. Has anyone ran one before? They are supposed to hold insane power and I see they are rated to 351 ft/lbs of torque but what do you think they could be pushed to? The car it's going on will be over the 450bhp mark and may run nitrous down the line so I need something that's up to the job. I was thinking more towards the unsprung solid disc as they would be more durable and less likely to break springs or start rattling after time. I'm looking at ordering a clutch today but want to make sure what I order is correct. Any ideas? Here's a link to the clutch... http://speedvisioncps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=143 I think it's the same as "ACT-6-PUCK-CLUTCH-SOLID-DISC-6212003" ??? Thanks in advance! Conor.
